If I could give zero I would. Unprofessional owners and teachers. The best thing i have to say about this place is they gave good recommendations to better Dojos. My son lost confidence at this place, but is thriving at another Dojo. Please do your homework before going here. It's a waste of time and money.

This has been a great experience for our kids. They've learned self discipline, sportsmanship, and resilience, and they've made a lot of friends. Mr. Scott and Ms. Melinda are excellent with kids. The school break camps and Parents' Night Out are highly recommended as well.

Mr. Scott and Ms. Melinda do an awesome job with our kids. My son and daughter love to go and learn Karate. The exercise releases some of their pent up energy, and the structure helps them focus and follow instructions. I highly recommend you stop in and check out what they have to offer.

The instructors are GREAT with kids! They have more patience than anyone I've ever seen. It is refreshing to see kids with different levels of focus all learning together.
I tried other places before choosing Life Martial Arts. The way the instructors work with the kids with learning challenges and the ones without learning challenges is impressive! Kids succeed here that struggle at school and other activities. I get emotional watching my kids do things I didn't think they would ever be able to do.
Thank You. You've helped my children have even more possibilities for their future.

Keith Scott the instructor for Life Martial arts threatened me (I am the parent of a child who attended summer camp this Tuesday June 5th 2018). My son was crying for half an hour as Scott informed me himself when I came to pick up my son. I questioned him many times on why he did not even call me to tell me that my son was crying for so long. Completely unacceptable and horrific that he denied my child's request to speak to me (his mother). If he has the audacity to threaten a parent how will he treat the children? This is a serious issue and I would urge all the parents to find out more about the business before joining their kids.
Parent's response to Business owner Scott's reply on 09/07/2018:
- This review is in response to the owner Scott's reply. He is making false statements in his response because he realized I wrote the review more than three to four months ago. He is fabricating a story and twisting the truth. The fact is that he either lied to me that my son was crying for more than half an hour or if he did tell me the truth then he should have contacted me immediately. If my son was crying for half an hour that is not okay.
He is making many false statements - first, is that my son attends school and he is not shy at all. They only saw my son during class for barely half an hour and there were many other kids and Scott barely spoke to me or my son until the camp day when he threatened me. How can they judge my child? Scott has no right to talk about our personal life and we do not owe him an explanation. Second - I introduced my son to a fellow student not the instructors in fact they could care less about the students; Who were playing on their own mostly. Third - My parents (my sons grandparents) spoke to him to cancel our contract. My parents later told me how distorted his reality is and that he does not respect elders when they are speaking to him. He told them also that he will not cancel our contract and demanded money even though we will never send our child to a place like this ever. He does not listen nor does he accept the truth. Scott insulted my parents and our culture (we are Indian and he admitted to doing that). This is what Scott said when I spoke to him over the phone the day we left the camp and their classes "Is it normal for people from India to interrupt conversations. Why are all Indians like this?" He attacked me and my culture and threatened me. This is a fact. Which is what prompted me to contact the proper authorities regarding Scott's threat.
Now he is attacking me and my child by writing fabricated lies about me and my child. He has no authority to talk about me and my child. I contacted the respected authorities when he made a verbal threat against me. His threat was for me to not talk to anyone or write a review as he felt that it would hurt his business. He cheated us out of our money and now has the audacity to write a response. He knows the truth and many parents must have realized what kind of a person he is and that is why he is responding after more than three to four months to my review.
I have also filed a formal complaint with the BBB. I would tell the owner to stop cyber bullying a mother and her child and lie about a student and their family who left more than four months ago. Publicly writing lies and demeaning a parent will not be tolerated.

My daughter has been attending Life Martial Arts for over 2 years now. She has attended school break camps as well as summer camp. This year my younger son joined in the fun for camp, too. Both kids have loved it and have had such great experiences working with Mr. Scott and the rest of the team! I can't say enough about how awesome our experience has been! I would highly HIGHLY recommend Life Martial Arts!

My daughter has been attending Life Martial Arts for over 2 years now. She has attended school break camps as well as summer camp. This year my younger son joined in the fun for camp, too. Both kids have loved it and have had such great experiences working with Mr. Scott and the rest of the team! I can't say enough about how awesome our experience has been! I would highly HIGHLY recommend Life Martial Arts!
