Ashley combines her intimate knowledge of the body with mindfulness/meditation techniques and Thai yoga techniques to provide a relaxing, spiritual session. I've been having therapy sessions with her once every 2 months for a little less than a year, and I haven't had regular massages like these since 5 years ago. It's so great to find a regular massage therapist that I feel a connection with!
The sense of warmth and welcoming starts from the moment you enter. Ashley is an incredibly intuitive, nurturing person, and she always creates a comfortable space. She usually lights candles or incense throughout the session and starts each session with a short meditation to facilitate deep breathing. I've noticed that she coordinates her massage pressure with my breathing, which seems to be the most efficient way to do it. Ashley somehow knows which spots are the toughest and what to do for them to release. She's also open to requests for more time on a specific spot if necessary.
I highly recommend Ashley; her massage therapy sessions always feel tailored, personal, and grounding. They've been really healing for me.
