Just a few weeks into yoga and I'm profoundly changed. This place is supportive, wholistic, nurturing, and affordable. They offer a range of classes for various experience levels, but even the advanced classes are not intimidating - just challenging.

Wonderful studio with very down to earth vibe (which is a refreshing change from some of the other studios in Atlanta that are not only expensive but also cater to a very stereotypical, new-age, upper class yogi). It's obvious that the people at Tough Love value the practice and want to make it accessible and affordable for all.

One of my favorite yoga studios in Atlanta. I enjoy yoga hour the most.

One of the BEST Yoga studios in the ATL. I am all about accessibility. The teachers in this yoga community echo bringing YOGA to the community and actively support the community as a part of their practice. So if you are looking for a place to get your yoga on, feel comfortable, and feel supported in your practice you will not go wrong with TLY! Love the place and am committing to show up more! Thank YOu to Tough Love Yoga for Brining it and Living the Yoga Practice!

(review edit july 2018) I recently left a review of another yoga studio that I really like. I love Yoga...All types. But Hear This - Tough Love Yoga may be the absolute touchstone of high level, alignment based (I'm not sure that's the correct term) yoga in the Atlanta area.

The alignment cueing is second to none. and when I say second to none...I'm hard pressed to give you other examples that are even relatively close. You have lots of classes at very convenient times (one of the few in ATL with 8:00 PM Classes) and a wide variety of class types and levels.

Till now, I haven't even mentioned the price...for years, it's 10.00 smackers a class. even during times of very high demand...10 clams! My fear is that one day Neda (the badass owner) will wake up from her stupor and raise prices according to the actual market. I can't say enough about this. Many owners have lots of dialogue about giving to the community. How's making possibly the highest quality practice in the area available and affordable to everyone. All time hall of yoga fame in my book. Go here and if you don't like it...question your existence.

I've been coming to this yoga studio since I moved to Atlanta in 2015 and I absolutely love it here. They have amazing instructors and patrons alike. You never feel judged my more advanced yogis in your classes and the instructors offer many options for poses. Recently a friend had gifted me a 5-class pass and I had not realized that these expire after a month but when the staff members recognized my frustration over this they worked with me to understand the policies and even gave me an extension on my pass, which they surely did not have to do. The team here truly cares about their patrons and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time advancing their yoga practice. I love Tough Love Yoga!!!

Greatly location in the heat of candler Park. Most classes are 10$ and you can pay by CC.

I do not practice yoga on a regular basis, I have down it a handful of times in the past. I do, however, love metal!! \m/ \m/ I had the pleasure of experiencing the metal yoga class after my friend suggested it during a recent weekend trip to Atlanta. As first time visors, the instructor was absolutely not intimidating, the class was comfortable, we felt welcome and encouraged!! It was a very warm environment and the experience is one I will treasure! Will definitely return if able.

As for the music!! Fantastic!! We listened to ISIS the whole 1:15 session. Several, several times I got so into the music and the pose that were being paired and it was so great!!!! I spoke to the instructor after the class and recommended the band RWake. It was too busy and crowded for me to also recommend: Pelican, Zoroaster, and at least Finger Paintings of the Insane by Acid Bath. If you don't know Acid Bath, leave it out if you can't get into tree pose to lyrics of utter insanity. Namaste!!

This place is so the real deal if you are looking for a legit yoga experience from a group of highly trained professionals. Get some of this Tough Love upon ya!

And don't let the name of the studio and the name of some of the classes intimidate you, yes the place is full of beautiful people that can show off

Hands down the best Yoga studio in Atlanta. Awesome instructors, unique class offerings, and a lovely practice space. Also one of the more affordable options for classes in the city.
