It was a little weird at first...I read on the website i need to get there early to fill out my form..so i got there, filled out my form and gave it to the instructor for the class. She took the sheet i filled out, and just set it down then walked into the fitness studio to finish setting up the stations and start the music etc......pretty sure she didn't read that I've had 3 knee surgeries and work done on my shoulder (rotator cuff issues)....so I just sat there for a minute confused about what to do next...she came back, gave me a quick tour (the space is small so thats not a big deal) and she started greeting other studio guests. So in the time while I waited, I read the whiteboard for the circuits listed and thought of adjustments i could make on my own to accommodate the issues with my knee and shoulder.
It's the first gym i've gone to where the instructor asks if you're new but doesn't ask anything else (how'd you find us, any injuries, whats your fitness level, are you a member at any other gym, etc)
Aside that, the class was hard for me, i'm strong but not in cardio shape so i was definitely sore and got a good workout in...overall its a clean studio and the price is reasonable so ill probably come back to get in a little better shape, and see what classes suit supporting my injuries but still a challenge.
