Very nice and clean facility. I never feel like it is packed to the point of being unable to find an exercise to do. I love their hours and everyone there has been so nice and accommodating. Equipment is all new and there seem to be plenty of good trainers to pick from if you are looking for that. The location is also great.
Equilibrium is hands down the best gym I have ever been a member of. It is impeccably clean, there's so much natural lighting, and the owners have put so much care into designing and decorating a space that is both beautiful and practical. The locker rooms are especially nice, with beauty products available, extremely clean showers, and the feel of a high-end boutique gym without the price tag. I have never taken any of their classes, but they seem to be very popular so I suspect that they are great. I particularly enjoy that aside from perhaps a couple peak hours, the gym is never so busy that you feel uncomfortable or inconvenienced. As a woman who often uses lifting equipment, I found I am so much more comfortable here than I was at a big corporate gym where there were constantly lots of men hanging out in the weight area/resting on equipment.
Overall, I could not recommend this gym enough and actually look forward to working out because I know I will be doing so in a lovely environment. My only recommendation for the owners would be to lower the volume of music during classes (it can sometimes become quite a disturbance to those not in the class) and if/when they grow enough for it to be possible, extend the hours a little later!
Equilibrium is everything that I like in a gym: clean, friendly staff, lots of natural light, well maintained newer equipment, easy parking and not overcrowded. I joined about 7 months ago after searching for a boutique gym like this for a while. I've had several other gym memberships in the area and this one is by far my favorite. It's hard enough some days to get motivated but it makes it much easier to have a place that I enjoy working out.
The hours are great - I'm an early morning workout fan.
The facility is clean.
The equipment is well-maintained, up to date and effective.
The locker rooms are very well-appointed.
The trainers are top notch - I work out with Johnnie, as does my handsome guy, and he's an outstanding trainer: focused, attentive, deliberate, no-nonsense.
The location is great too since it's right on Piedmont Park. You can easily enjoy a quick run or walk after a workout.
They offer very affordable chiro services, which I have yet to try but intend to soon.
I haven't done the classes because I pay for another membership at another gym, so it's just not economical for me. But the classes look varied and effective.

Wonder clean place that offers 3 free tryout days. This place has a wonderful gym and one amazing locker/shower room with towels lotions and soaps. Mr Andres who works the desk is polite and helpful.

Management really takes care of you here and takes the time to get to know you. Great experience and this gym has changed my life fitness wise.

FINALLY a convenient, bright (nice windows) and extremely clean, environment to work out in ! With state of the art equipment and well trained instructors. Whether you take classes or on your own, its easy and to get in and out. The staff and owner are always present and happy !

My son and I both work out Equilibrium. Brand new state of the art equipment that spans multiple training regimens with no wait times. Everything is kept spotless. Friendly staff. Looks out over Piedmont Commons always providing something to look at while training. Little more expensive than other offerings in the area but, you get what you pay for. Makes working out easy. Great feel and I highly recommend!

Parking can be a pain when the surrounding businesses are busy, but it looks like they are adding more spaces (hopefully).
