Club Pilates Buckhead is a great place! The managers, Brittany and Tamara, are amazing and they make sure everything runs smoothly and the equipment pristine. It's a please going there, there are lots of classes each day, and the online scheduling is a snap. highly recommend!!!

I tried Club Pilates of Sandy Springs for a complementary session in April. Upon arrival I was asked to give my information and purchase a pair of socks for $21. This was all ok with me. Everything seemed fine I left and received a call from the studio manager 15 minutes after. She asked if I wanted to enroll. I told her it was not a good time. They do not have a space for kids and it would be a better fit for me to start in the fall. The next week I noticed there was a charge for $200 on my credit card that I used to purchase the socks. Keep in mind I did not sign an agreement for monthly billing! I called and the studio manager tried to sell my yet again. I was irritated but it was fine because she agreed to reverse the charge. This last week I noticed yet again my CC had been charged and the original $200 was not reversed. I thought it would be better to stop in to clear up any confusion. I encountered the rudest most aggressive woman at the counter. When I tried to talk with her she said that I had signed an agreement. I know I did not. She continued that not only would I be charged this time I would also be charge again because it was not 30 days!! This is $600+ dollars. I could not believe this. I asked to talk with a manager. She soon called me aggressive in order to intimidate me. There was no loud voice or inappropriate language used by me. She however was very aggressive and rude. She continued with some rant and made me extremely uncomfortable. I have never experienced something like this in my life. I called my CC and put in a fraud notice. I highly recommend never stepping foot in this horrible place!

Long story short, the place and the quality of the session that I got (from Kathie Bradley) was excellent!

I went to the one-time free session with my wife on Saturday 3/16/2019. I was looking for a place for my wife, and I wanted to check out the place with her. Some Google comments stated that they are not friendly, and the instructor is not good, so I was a bit iffy about the place. However, it was very well appreciated.

My 30-minute free session went amazing. Kathie covered some basic movements that each of their classes offer (such as "Reformer Flow" or "Center + Balance"). She was very knowledgeable in muscle activities of each movement, so that was very helpful when my wife and I were doing what she told us to do. It helped us what muscle to concentrate on and how to move. She was also kind and easy to approach.

Overall, the experience was great. The person who greeted us was friendly and helped us kindly get 3-month session for my wife.

Now, I could see that the quality of the session could depend on the instructor. If you want to found out yourself, go sign up for a free session and feel for yourself.

**Bring a bottle of water and grip socks, otherwise you have to buy one.

Below is a "review" from Sarah Stennett who is married to Kellen Stennett who is the OWNER of Club PIlates Buckhead !! She gave the club FIVE STARS !! Must be pretty bad to have to have your WIFE review your business ! That says it all ! I went to a couple of classes--DON'T BOTHER !! This place gives Pilates a bad reputation. Teachers were laughable. Rude. irritable staff.

Love my Club Pilates! I do not understand the negative reviews at all. The instructors are attentive and motivating, there is a large variety of classes, and I am fitter than I've ever been. I can't recommend Pilates enough, and this is the best (and most affordable) place in Atlanta to take it.

I moved to the ATL metro area last year. I began my pilates journey in Seattle Washington. I was so happy first of all that I could transfer my Washington membership to Georgia. I decided on the Buckhead studio because it is close to my house. My first visit into this studio sealed the deal for me. I felt welcomed, the staff and instructors were warm and I had an awesome workout experience. I'm retired and have an unlimited membership, which means I can go whenever I want. However, I usually go in late morning or early afternoon. I've never had a bad experience with the staff. I do have my favorite instructors (Adam, Meghan & Evie) Some you just mesh with and some you may not. The price for an unlimited membership fits well within my budget and the studio is always clean, neat and well organized. You guys are doing a great job!

Greeted at the front desk by woman in a bad mood who was covered with tattoos. If you go to the "free demo" be prepared to buy a pair of their $20 toe socks--otherwise you can't take their "demo class". Demo class was basically a lecture. Afterward, be prepared for a hard sell. I asked for a cup of water and was told I had to buy a water bottle to fill at their water fountain( $10-$26 for a water bottle) they don't offer cups. Obviously inexperienced teachers, very slow moving classes. This is a franchise chain and neither the owners or the manager know anything about Pilates--just trying to make max money. This studio does give Pilates a
bad name. I doubt it will be around very long-- so definitely don't be foolish enough to sign up for a long time !

RESPONSE TO OWNER: After moving to Atlanta this year, I am trying all the Pilates Studios. I've been doing Pilates for 15 years in other cities.
You seem to doubt that I've ever been in your club. No, I've been in your club twice--once for the 'free demo' and once just to check it out. I go by my married name. At first I saw the nice room with all the brand new Balanced Body equipment and the low prices. Thought I would check it out ! I did find it odd that the 'teacher' teaching the class was 50 pounds overweight. The next teacher had a bleach blonde helmut hair with cleavage boiling out of her chest and 6 in spike heals on. I watched a little of the classes and never the less came back for the demo. I was greeted by a woman with long gray hair and the woman with all the tattoos. Neither one even gave any semblance of a smile or welcoming air. That's why I figure they were having a bad day (but later found out that they're like that all the time--not exactly born salespeople, huh?!?!)
I did have to buy a pair of $16 sox to take the demo. And couldn't have a drink of water unless I bought an overpriced water bottle.

I am not sure what a few of the other reviews are referring to but my experience was nothing less than a great one! I had never tried Pilates before so I decided to give CP a try after receiving a flier in the mail. I had a baby not too long ago and have some knee pain. I signed up online for one of the demo classes on a Saturday. Before my demo, I got a call from one of the staff members who gave me more information on what the demo would entail and asked about my needs. They advised the demo is taught at an introductory level and that it was perfect for me since I'd never been on a Reformer. I did have to buy socks but it wasn't an issue for me since I was serious about getting started on a program and not just attending for a free class. The staff that greeted me for the demo was awesome! They were really upbeat and helpful. My instructor, Adam, was great. Love his personality and attention to details for folks with injuries. I liked the class so much that I decided to join the studio. I have now learned that Pilates is typically very expensive and I would definitely not be able to afford it if it weren't for Club Pilates coming to town. The staff is very informative during the sign up process as well. They let you know exactly what you are signing up for. They do ask for a 30 day notice to cancel a membership, which to me seems pretty standard across the fitness world now of days. I have been going 3 times a week at this point and have seen INCREDIBLE results already. I have taken classes with EJ, Keisha, Mizelle and Adam. They are all fabulous and all have their own flare. They also have a location in Brookhaven that is beautiful.

Absolutely the worst Pilates experience I've ever had. The Wal-Mart of Pilates Studios--cheap but you get what you pay for

A great workout for a great price! Friendly instructors that know how to tailor the experience for each person in the class. I look forward to each session and cannot recommend them enough.
