Evolation is a very nice and thoughtfully curated studio. That being said I will practice anywhere Douglas Johnson teaches and his classes are the reason I go to evolation. Thank you for providing a venue for his teaching.
I love Evolation! Until a few months ago, I only practiced yoga at home, then as a cure for winter blues, tried a few studios. Evolation is by far my preferred. I've taken different classes, and really enjoyed most of them. I concentrate on the slow flow style classes as I like them best (and warm--no hot for me, though they offer plenty). They also have workshops. Diverse student and teacher group; really nice staff. Zero attitude. I esp like Vladimir, Maya and Johnny, but have enjoyed all the teachers and classes.
I have been very pleased with my experience at evolation yoga. As someone new to yoga when I joined, I felt very comfortable at the studio from the first day. I found the environment to be very welcoming, and have appreciated the large variety of types of yoga classes as I feel like I was able to try a lot of different types of yoga classes to find the ones that are best suited for me. I feel like I have learned a lot from the very patient and knowledgeable instructors, and love the whole environment at the studio.

One of my favorite yoga studios in Atlanta. The teachers here are positive, welcoming, and attentive to alignment. The space is clean with multiple showers in the changing room. The hot classes are my favorite and parking is easy and free in the adjoining deck/garage. Prices are a steal for the quality of instruction in this location. Start your yoga evolution at evolation.

Everyone is so friendly, right from the owners to the staff to the other yoga practitioners. I love that they incorporate meditation, chanting, mantras and other mindfulness practices into their yoga, making the experience holistic. I highly recommend this yoga studio to anyone beginning their yoga journey or wanting to take it higher.
I enjoyed my Flow 60 session with Will Milne. Definitely plan on coming back when I can fit it in my schedule. The new student discount is nothing to shake your head at either.
I've been taking Gentle Yoga classes with Evolation Yoga for several years now. This is a perfect class for a beginning yoga student who is a "woman of a certain age." It's my time for myself and I treasure it.

I went to Evolations 12pm class today after a terribly long, long break from yoga, and I really liked the studio!! Parking was a breeze, the young woman at the front desk was very kind and attentive, and the instructor, Ayodele was awesome! A HUGE plus for me, was the very small class size, it was heavenly. In the past, I've been in hot yoga classes that were so jam-packed that one has to continually contend with having enough space, other folks' sweat dripping dangerously close to you, and happy hour type conversations before and after class (how are people NOT mindful that it is a YOGA CLASS and NOT a sorority/fraternity party???!!!!!) I'm very much looking forward to going for more classes!
Veronica Lewinger never disappoints. Her instructions are so clear & activate my muscles so I feel the burn, but the pace is slow enough to allow time to get into each pose fully and consciously. Yoga should raise our awareness of our body, how we feel in the present moment, and the breath. Veronica's classes do all of those things and then some.

This was a great studio for me to drop in for a class while in the middle of a lot of travel. The instructor was so good by accommodating my beginner status in hot yoga, while also speaking to the more advanced students in the class.

First time visiting and I was greeted by a friendly instructor (Amanda) who also led our class. 75 minutes of hot slow flow and I felt totally comfortable and supported in the environment. They have bolsters, blankets and blocks for guests to use, offer several different levels of classes and have a really inviting space to develop your practice in.

I really enjoy the instructors at Evolation. Every class I have taken has pushed me to try something new or take a new approach.While there are a lot of people who have obviously been practicing yoga for a very long time, I never feel judged or uncomfortable with my own practice. The studio's cleanliness also contributes to my enjoyment quite a bit.

I was the girl looking at the clock - wanting to make sure the door opened in time...ok - so it's been a lifetime (literally) since I've taken a yoga class.
When I walked in the door I was greeted by the blend of 'burnt' lavender and some kind of peppermint aroma - I was actually scared because relaxation was upon me and I had no idea what I was going to do with it...needless to say the instructor was amazingly sure, strong yet sensitive to my first time experience. I ended up not wanting to leave the mat...it was the most quiet supportive place I've landed in awhile.. An amazing balance of strength from awareness and surrender of all the weights we aren't meant to carry. I will be back!

Great yoga studio in the heart of Atlanta. The instructor was patient, the atmosphere was superb, and the facilities top notch. The lavender ice cold towel at the end is a nice touch. Go and try a class or two. Your body will thank you!!
I took the 75 minute slow flow hot yoga class with Victoria and it was incredible! I felt so rejuvenated and energized when I was done. Amazing class!
Amazing community of teachers, staff and yogis. Many classes to choose from and each class has a very own unique style of the teacher. The studio is very cozy, clean and smells nice:)
Johnny was awesome. Front desk was super kind. I forgot my yoga mat along with everything trying to get there on time from work, and they made me feel comfortable and gave me everything I needed!
Veronica worked to get to know the students before class to tailor the practice to their needs. She is knowledgeable and observant. She showed interest and followed up with individuals after class. She noticed my hip bothers me and asked about it. She did a good job of making a fairly large studio seem more intimate

I have been going to Evolation, and practicing yoga in general, for a month now and it has been wonderful. I see three instructors each week, each of whom have a background in Kripalu-based Pranakriya, and they have been great. I was looking for a Kripalu based foundation and found exactly what I was looking for. While each of the instructors I have chosen have similar backgrounds, each of them bring a slightly different and wonderful personal method to their classes and I have found each of them to be great experiences.
Class was both relaxing and challenging. Facilities were well kept and clean. Staff was friendly and informative. The inside of the studio looks really cool, and there's free parking too. I attended for the first time today as a part of my ClassPass membership, and I will be returning!

Nice studio. Wish they do more hot slow flow and regular flow classes. I enjoy a hot flow yoga every now and then but need the variety.

Took a Hot Yoga class here for the first time. It was very welcoming for a newcomer and I had a great experience. I was worried about the difficulty, and though it was physically engaging it was definitely adaptable to all skill levels. Will was awesome!
It's very easy to sign up for classes online. I had some questions and Bryce was really helpful (and prompt!) while we were e-mailing back and forth. I haven't had to make any phone calls yet, which, as a yung anxious human, is a huge relief. I've only taken one class so far, and I love it, so I will be back. (I mean, I have to: I just signed up for a bunch of classes...but I'm actually looking forward to them.) The instructions for how to get to the studio were really easy to follow, even for someone like me who absolutely no sense of direction. The atmosphere is great, everyone is friendly, and I just really look forward to working with Evolation to become my best self and live my best life. :D
I moved here from Michigan less than a month ago. It was hard to find a new studio because I had been with mine back home for 4 years. But Evolation is amazing. There are so many classes to choose from, it's impossible to not find a time that will work with your schedule. Everything is clean and sanitary and they care about being green. There are no paper towels in the restroom and there's a filtered water station. Add in the convenient location and free parking, what's not to love?
Jackie's class was very relaxing. I am still new to yoga but I was able to follow along, even if I couldn't fit into all the positions. She made it very easy to find alternatives when I needed them. I left the class feeling more relaxed and limber.
Love love love this yoga studio. Very cute and laid-back. The instructors know their stuff and do not push you beyond your level. Great place to learn without feeling pressured.
This is by far my favorite yoga studio between Atlanta and Cincinnati! They have many class types and even more variety of teaching styles to go with them, unlike big box yoga studios that confine instructors to only their techniques. This is a collective in which variety is praised and learning is ongoing. I hope Evolation will be able to open up another studio in North Buckhead or Sandy Springs soon so I can start going again.
I started my hot yoga practice at Evolation Yoga Atlanta because of the amazing studio facilities and great community. They have a slogan there Give. Love. Share. Together. And it resonates with me. The studio is clean, great heat, great changing and shower area and great people. Lots of classes, not just hot. Really love this place more and more each time I go.
I love instructor Vladimir! He is a scholar of the traditions of yoga, and tells wonderful stories about where the yoga moves come from and why we do them. He has a great sense of humor too and is a great coach with the moves. The studio is serene and clean, has great service and I love the diversity of the other yogis.
