Was given a massage with Joey as a Christmas gift. I called for several weeks, and he never answered the phone, so I had to reach out to Groupon to offer me a different local deal. Avoid this place if you're considering using a Groupon.

I woke up on Sunday with a dead left leg. I couldn't lift it even to walk. The pain was excruciating. After stretching all night and stressing about the next day's conference I picked up the phone and called the first Chiropractor with a 5 star rating.
Dr. Af Shirinzadeh answered his cell phone and truly seemed to care about my perdicament. He set me an appointment the following day, AFTER my conference concluded.
From the moment I hobbled into the office Dr. Af showed love and concern for me and my hurting body. He spent a full hour massaging and adjusting me. He was tender but efficient. He was kind and coached me through the painful breathing while he worked.
And after it all, as I was putting on my shoes, I realized my leg still couldn't cross my other one. He put me back on the table and put 15 more minutes into fixing that one muscle while I said thank you and calling him the Devil all at the same time. LOL This was the best chiropractic experience of my life and I LOVE chiropractic work!
I HIGHLY suggest this man to ANYONE in Atlanta with body pains. If I could give this man 10 stars I would.

Dr. B.K was awesome not to mention a natural people person! I knew Empower was a win when Dr. Karpus mentioned that he preferred manual therapy versus using some sort of machine. I'm a lover of yoga and all things flexible so I couldn't be more happy. Dr. Karpus is very knowledgeable when it comes to the body and healing. Throughout my sessions he took the time to answer every question that I had and he explained his technique brief and slow before moving forward.
I really appreciate him for taking his time during my therapy and not over-doing it. Acupuncture was something that I had never done before but he assured me that it would be bearable and started with a small few. I always felt relieved after leaving my sessions and my headaches began to ease within a few weeks. Going to any kind of doctor has always been a tad awkward for me but Benjamin was very relaxed humorous so I felt pretty comfortable! I would definitely recommend him for therapy or even a simple massage.
My visits with Dr. Benny has been such a pleasant and life saving experience!!! I've had lower back pain off and on for over 10 yrs and after my 1st visit I immediately felt results. After my extensive search to find a Dr. here in Ga and see results from treatment was EXTREMELY exhausting. I almost gave up hope. Now I am able to keep up with my active toddler. Might I add the staff was pleasant which was added icing on the cake!!! It felt like a mini vacay/spa for me on my visits away from hubby and kids..lol I HIGHLY recommend

Not only did he treat my back during the session, he also assigned me some targeted exercises that I can do on a regular basis at home to gain flexibility, balance, and strength. So I have had back and hip problems since college and felt like an old man in my late 20s. I've been to physical therapist, doctors and chiropractors, but nothing seemed to work. I'd feel better for a week or two, but then the pain in my back or the clicking of my hip would return. I've been active my whole life so this was very frustrating and the last thing I wanted was surgery. I've known Benny as a friend for years but never as a "physical therapist". I use quotations because he does so much more than just what I thought was physically therapy. He did his undergrad at University of Georgia and then his masters in physical therapy at the University of Miami before traveling the world to learn different methods of alternative treatments. When we started working together he asked a TON OF QUESTIONS which was important to me because I wanted a custom treatment game plan. As he took the time to get to know my physical problems and goals, my treatment picture became clearer. He did a good job of setting expectations and did not promise an overnight fix. He also gave me a list of detailed rehab exercises which he held me accountable to. I've been working with Benny for a year and my quality-of-life day today is significantly better. I rarely have back pain and when I do I am able to self correct most of it through the exercises that he has given me. I would highly recommend you give Benny a call. I have recommended him to my family members and friends.
