There for my grandsons basketball games. Good addition to the community.
Very family oriented, I'm able to drop my littles at the daycare while I take a group exercise class. My four year old has taken swim and karate classes and loves the YMCA
I attend the Black Man Lab every Monday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm. Issues concerning Americans of African descent are discussed. Great experience.
Excellent Georgia pre-k program! Very supportive of the community, excellent Aquatic Center and Fitness programs.
The "Y", Doctor & Major Young YMCA is in a class to itself, The Greatest caring, and ever helpful Staff!
....not just in the Metro Atlanta area, [I travel extensively and workout 5 days a week] However, this Y is the best I have encountered thru out the entire U.S. Lower 48 States & D.C. Now the Club... How many ways?...let me count... the Club... 1. No long waits to use the strength training equipment; 2. access to several basketball courts [almost at any time of day and visit]; 3. GREAT Steam Room and very hot sauna; 4.and I could go on and on...

Will never leave my child in their care again. They neglected my child, she fell on concrete ground and it left a lump on her head, skin fell off, and her skin got burned. It's been almost a month and it's still trying to heel. I dropped my daughter off in their care at 8:00 am that morning, the incident happened at 11 am and I got no call, no nothing. It was when I arrived at 6:30 pm I found out about the incident. Almost 5 hours later and no adult called me. There is nothing but young kids watching little kids no responsible adults around. I will upload pictures when I get to a laptop.
This is the best place to work out the executive director Gavin McGuire is the best he has the best programs, the place is clean with the latest equipment , it is community oriented . There is a Y in every family and this is it.

I joined in 2007, I tore my ligament in my knee and I'm just getting back. I miss the sauna and I'm enjoying the pool so it's a great place for me, people complain about the location everything can't be in Alpharetta Georgia, I like it. I hope they never move.

We came here for the very first time for the Fall Festival and I must say it was really nice and organized! My kids had fun so that's all that mattered to me.

Horrible experience my son was beaten and teased and mocked by these kids named somari and montravious and my son came home with bruises and bumps I wouldn't recommend it if you want to see your son crying and being bullied by these jerks but when I dropped him off they were really nice I'm shocked at these liars and they hurt my son physically and mentally and now he is paranoid all the time and has vision problems because I found out he got punched in the eye and my son has autism

I spoke to someone in person at Wellness Center and at the customer service front desk but they seem to not resolve the challenges that I'm facing. To turn the TV off when working. it is high radiation. The fact that they are clueless and they work at well Center it kind of scares me.
This is not the first time the second time dealing with this kind of challenges I will not show up at this YMCA in less this issues handled. Or higher people that are well-rounded or that knows a little bit about their job.

I love the Y. Always something positive going on at the ANDREW AND WALTER YOUNG YMCA. Definitely a big part of the Campbellton Road community.
I got a family membership as a gift for my husband last year and it has been such a blessing. This branch is really awesome. My husband has become a health and wellness guru, not to mention that he's gotten so so very fine!
I absolutely loved the volunteering experience at the Y but mainly fell in love with the work at the Greenhouse. Amazingly inspiring.
Great place for working out but the expresso bikes don't connect to the internet anymore and the aquatic area is very well maintained

The staff are extremely friendly, and the equipment in the weight room is up-to-date. It just always gets a bad rep from new people coming in or unfamiliar to the territory because it's not in the best of places. My only problem is the hours. Wish they could expand the hours.
This daycare is bad quality. My child's teacher tossed a 2 or 3 year old because he was crying for his dad. She tossed him into a pile of stuffed animals, but it was with force and out of anger. She didn't know I was in the room and looked very guilty when she noticed me. Also I wrote out my daughter's health restrictions. Her teachers ignored them, she ended up getting a fever during daycare and an ear infection. The teacher called me while my baby was having a febrile seizure. She had the nerve to say "your child was foaming at the mouth and shaking and won't answer to her name, is she playing?" Their dad went to visit my son in the infant class and looked in the room for at least 30 minutes through the door. Our baby was in a crib just staring while all the other babies screamed and cried. The teachers were greatly outnumbered and weren't allowed basic items like baby swings and bottle warmers. I took my children out once my daughter had a seizure and don't reccomend this daycare to anyone.
I love this place I go to camp here and we go on many field trips at least twice a week, and the basketball court is great for kids to play and meet new friends.
The Andrew Walter Young Family YMCA is a great program which offers affordable programs to its patrons/members! This is just a "not so great location!"
