Rubber Soul is like a second home to me. Through the teacher training (Adventure Club) I've met many of my closest friends, and I still make friends there regularly before and after yoga classes. Thanks to the studio's owner, I have a more playful (read: healthy) appreciation of yoga. And all of Athens is enlivened by the clown performances put on or spawned there.

When I walked into this studio for the first time, I knew instantly it was the place I needed to be. You can feel the energy the minute you step inside. Every one from all walks of life is accepted and treated with kindness. This studio has completely changed my life for the better. I am extremely grateful for this gem!

I love this place. It's the first yoga studio I ever came to in Athens (I started at Ramsey) and I've been coming ever since. That was almost four years ago. It's an affordable, friendly, playful studio with great teachers. Everyone is so nice! The studio itself is so quirky and unlike every other yoga studio in town. What a wonderful place to have here in Athens.

AMAZING place, amazing teachers. Changed my life. I completed a 200 HR TT there 3 years ago and constantly recommend anyone in Athens or passing through the area to stop by. Super wonderful that a donation based studio exists for people of all abilities. The teachers there are volunteers and truly love what they do. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. :)

I have been through the 200 hour yoga teacher training program twice, and my whole life has been changed for the better because of it! I have fallen in love with the community of Rubber Soul - my classmates and teachers continue to provide IMMENSE hope to me in my times of despair for the world. and to top it all off.... these are the most affordable yoga classes and training in Athens. I am eternally grateful for the community and space of Rubber Soul Yoga.
I consider Rubber Soul to be my spiritual birth place. I took my first class here 5 years ago, I have been certified for the 200 hour teacher training here, and I have come to know and love the community that centers itself around Rubber Soul. I truly don't know what my life would look like today if it wasn't for Rubber Soul. The $5 classes were perfect for my budget as a UGA student, and as a graduate student, I am extremely grateful that Rubber Soul is able to provide the most affordable, and most enlightening classes in Athens GA! Check out a lesson with Cal and drop by for great instruction, and a wonderful atmosphere :)
If I could give this place a million stars I would! There is not another place that is like Rubber Soul; it is more than just a yoga studio. It is a place for community, love to be given and received, story telling, clowning around, and expressing ourselves in whatever way that suites us! My most meaningful friendships have stemmed from bonding with other RS students and are the relationships that have gotten me through to where I am today. On top of all of that, the ASANA (physical poses of yoga) aspect is the cherry on top. Come here to experience bliss!
Wonderful experience in 200 hour yoga teacher program. I travelled all the way from Lawrenceville to participate in this one of a kind program. I highly recommend Rubber Soul Yoga to everyone on any level. It will transform your life.
