Ever heard of a gym membership going to collections? You will here! I was a member for over a year. While I can not say for sure if it was from the old outdated equipment or the lack of padding on the equipment, I ended hurting my sciatic nerve while in this gym. I was nervous about going back and injuring myself again and did not go the last 4 to 5 months that I paid for. My debit card number got compromised & canceled because of another place and when the manager, Kayla, text me about updating my debit card, I simply responded with "please cancel my account." I did not want a refund for months not used, just did not want to continue paying and not going. So, since they have a 30 day cancelation period... What Kayla informed me was that they would not cancel my membership and keep charging it until 85 days hit... Once 85 days past due hit, the gym would just sell my inflated 3 months membership to a collection agency...this harming my credit standings and would have to pay more for 3 months membership, I never would have had an opportunity to use. Do not join this gym, they will never let you leave without paying for additional months. They also do not even provide towels to their members or know who their members are. When I walk in to cancel my account and pay for another needed month, you could at least know my name of a member after a year of membership.
