Been here for only 6 months. Awesome environment to train and get in shape. The facility and quality of staff is what really sets the gym apart from the rest. 5*****!!
Just tried my first class there (kickboxing) and Loved it!! Challenging and fun at the same time. And wow the view from there makes the workout even more enjoyable. I can't wait to try another class!
This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. All of the equipment DOES work and if something breaks, the staff is on top of getting the equipment serviced right away. I love how knowledgeable the staff is and they have been very helpful. My personal favorite is Jason as he is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I had been experiencing some lower back pain so and I went to Jason to figure out what was going on. He stretched me out, assessed the area where I was in pain and determined the problem. He gave me recovery workouts to get back on track. Very happy and grateful for this team!
Awesome gym in West Palm that has the best equipment, technology, and group fitness classes. Jose and Zack are great Martial Artist's / coaches and I'm really enjoying the boxing, and kickboxing classes they teach. They both constantly mix up their routines so it never gets old. If you're looking for a positive work out environment, great people, no ego's, and city views that are stunning, then I highly recommend this gym.
The new location and layout is terrible. Cramped space for lifting and not a lot of cardio equipment. They are actually missing some basic equipment that they had at their previous location. Locker rooms are tiny as well. Its really sad since I loved the old location. Would have given one star but the staff there is top great!

Clean and well-organized. Everything you need in a gym. Private showers are a plus. Owner is very nice and helpful.
Love this gym. Meet great people, form good friendships that help you meet your fitness goals. Killing it in a workout is way more fun with friends.
I am very impressed with the quality, education and expertise of the trainers. Also the diversity of the most updated machines, and the hospitality and politeness of the administration.

This place sets the bar for gyms in the area. This is how a gym should be ran. They keep this place clean at all times. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The members put their weights back. But the best thing to me is they are not trying to sell me services at all time. That is the reason I left the national chain down the street.

I really enjoy going to the Ultima Fitness Downtown. I started while I was working in the area but have continued even after my retirement. The facility is just the right size and they have a wide variety of equipment. Also, they keep the gym and equipment very clean which makes me feel comfortable. They have great trainers and a variety of trainers to fit your personality and your training goals. I also like the wide variety of clientele. They have people from all walks of life and everyone from the young to the seniors, the beginners that need to get fit and the very fit men and women that inspire us all. I also enjoy training with my fitness coach Marie-Elena Aruta.
Love this gym! Being a former tennis professional at country clubs I understand the vitality of connecting with your members and this staff does an excellent job at that. They all learn everyone's name along with always being friendly and professional. This gym exceeds expectations which is so important to members. The gym is always clean and the staff are continually walking around to organize and put weights away if they're left out. Bathrooms, showers and locker rooms are always clean. Thank you Ultima Staff for all of the hard work you do!
I have very high expectations for fitness facilities. Having traveled to Palm Beach for business, I chose Ultima as my home base for fitness. Ultima proved to be outstanding in every facet. The facility itself is immaculate, the equipment is new and well kept and the options for strength training, classes, personal training are both abundant and exceptional. The staff was always friendly and greeted you with a smile. The owners were present and hands on...this to me is what makes Ultima great! Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for not only a great facility, but a great community of people to incorporate into your health and wellness!
Fabulous Gym: Huge, Clean, and Lots of Activities. The facility is kept sparkling clean. There is little or no staff turnover, so the staff gets to know the customers. There are free and varied classes going on all day every day, if you're a member. The friendly staff will work with you if your health insurance covers a fitness facility. I'm retired, and my BCBS of Michigan covers much of my (low) monthly dues. The owner is often on site, and he's great to work with.
Had been a mamber here for 15 yrs. Decided to try Hard Exercise Works about a year ago. Went to Ultima to cancel my membership and was talked into putting it on vacation mode for $5 per month. Decided to do that was not told of any limitations. This past month I noticed the full $55 charge back on my card. Walked over to dispute it and was told the vacation hold only lasts a year. They wouldnt tell me how long I had been back on full charge. I then cancelled in full and they charged me another 30 days at $55. I guess the money is worth a negative review from a 15yr member. I will never go back. Check out other gyms there are plenty of options.
Ultima now has an internationally renowned zumba instructor from Germany who is outstanding. Question is why he would teach at a small venue like West Palm Beach when he could have moved to Miami and had a class of hundreds! But hopefully he will stay out the summer eventhough the classes are small until season begins. The other Zumba teacher Jasmine is equally outstanding. Good yoga teachers and personal trainers. Patti's weight/pump classes are ultra challenging. The gym owners care about their clients and are always open to suggestions
I joined 6 month ago. I work downtown so its extremely convenient. They rates are a little more than other gyms. But the people who work out the are extremely nice to deal with. I lost my phone there once. When I went back several hours later some one turned in my phone.
UPDATED: GREAT RENOVATION. THE NEW OWNERS HAVE TURN THIS PLACE AROUND. EVERYTHING IS NICE AND NEW. HE ALSO HIRED BETTER STAFF.
3/1/2016: This is the closest place to a Equinox in Wpb. Super clean everything is meticulous check and put back. Place is very very nice.
This facilty is in a great location! The trainers work really hard to put on a great class and are very motivational. I work top floor of the Harvey building downtown and everyone at my office loves this place. I would highly recommend Boxfit to anyone looking for a fitness facility in this area.

All the trainers are exceptional and I have never seen the kind results I am seeing here. I am so thankful and grateful to have found this gym. It's a life changer. Mentally and physically.
