This is the best Program! All the instructors are great! My daughter was able to rebuild her confidence after a tragedy. We will always be greatful for this experience!

Goiano Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the perfect academy that i was looking for how
to learn self-defense, a place where all students are treated with respect. I am very happy with my progress as a student, thanks to Professor Rafael De Lima and coach Mike Perez, it is never too late to learn!

This guy knows his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I like that we work on one set of moves several classes in a row. This way, you really get to understand the technique and can use it when you are sparring. Its much better to learn a couple moves really well, instead of leaning a bunch of moves, but only understand the technique a little bit. Only the moves you drill over and over will work in sparring.
I like that he still attends classes at his professors academy. This shows me he wants to have complete understanding of the art.

I love this place. Family atmosphere with world class instruction. Professor Raphael De Lima teaches every class with attention to detail and always thinks about the best interest of his students. He brings forth his personal knowledge and experience as well his world class pedigree in BJJ. How many gyms can say that a world class black belt teaches every class and treats students like equals? I know I can say that is true about this place.

Marcio Cruz black belt. Rafael is one of the best instructors in the Tampa Bay area and unlike many instructors in the area he's always testing and improving his skills by competing.
