I had been out of shape for years, and Orangetheory was the perfect jumpstart for me. Since starting with Orangetheory a few months ago (along with a better diet), I've lost 20 pounds, ran my first mile since grade school (9 minutes), increased my strength significantly, and feel better about life than ever. The class never forced me to keep up with anyone else, only to challenge myself. The coaches are all supportive and helpful. They never singled me out. They taught me proper form and provided modifications when I was struggling. The people there are at all fitness levels from the insanely fit to beginners, and I never felt like I didn't belong. The atmosphere itself is high energy, push-yourself-to-the-limits. If you are committed to improving and challenging yourself, Orangetheory is a fantastic way to do so.
