Great facility. Very friendly and welcoming. Staff is great. Sheryl Carvajal is a phenomenal trainer. The YMCA is extremely lucky to have her.
Staff always friendly. New machines are appreciated. Love the heated pool. Very clean facility. I just wish this YMCA had the same activities as other Tampa Ys, like cheerleading.
The staff has been friendly and helpful. The atmosphere feels relaxed and I don't feel pressured in doing anything. I really enjoyed coming here and I will come back again.
Local community gym focus on positive experiences. Always working to improve, adding new equipment and plans for future renovations. Have been going for several years and staff is friendly and you get to know others who are regulars, or you can come and go without engaging - whatever works for you.
I have always enjoyed being a YMCA member. I like this particular location because it is never too crowded and the hours are perfect for me to fit in an early morning workout before work! The staff members are very friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for an affordable gym with great equipment!
I have been going to the Y for over 2.5 years and I have seen such an improvement in what Yohance and his amazing team have made. I have wanted to go to a different gym, just to not pay as much. But the sense of community and support this location provides, is unparalleled. I look forward to the new renovation and taking this gym to the next level! Keep your the great work!

This location does a great job of keeping the facility clean and equipment up to date. I feel very welcome when I'm there and it is never too crowded.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the equipment is well maintained and there is plenty of it as well as free weights. This Y is kept very clean. I love working out here.

The Y is always dirty. The back room used for boxing and mat work is filthy and appears neglected. I never see people sweeping, mopping or attending to a hygiene maintenance program like other YMCA branches.
This is a great Y with the most friendly staff! I've tried out a lot of the different group fitness classes over the years, and you never feel out of place, no matter your fitness level.

Pretty good gym and basketball court. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Homeless people coming in, kids running all over the place. Facility not that large and often rude employees.
Cheap membership and all necessary gym equipment.
Good place to work out. Everyone who works at the desk is helpful. Well maintained rack ball courts. Plenty of activities for children. Pool maintenance could be improved. It is not cleaned relative to the amount of traffic it gets.
I was helped by Lenore who is highly knowledgeable of all the programs offered by the Y and she even offered me a tour of the gym. Great customer service! Although Christie makes me feel very unwelcome, I am still rating this location 5stars! Can't let one spoiled apple ruin the bunch!
Amazing place to work out, I love to take classes there, front desk people is very kind, I like to be in touch with ymca family the all week, awesome instructors!!!!!!!! Place of fun and peace=))))

Super convenient to the Riverwalk for an outside jog/walk and a return for strength and stretching.
