So I belonged to a Crossfit gym on the north side of Tampa and just switched to Crossfit 813... There are a few things that stand out when they are compared.
(1) The warm-ups are more involved and directly led
(2) The class size is twice as big at 813 (which I like, because it's all about that group motivation and encouragement)
(3) Crossfit 813 is very focused and 'serious' (in a good way), there are people at all different levels of fitness and everyone is 'all-in' when it comes to getting fit
(4) MOST IMPORTANTLY... They have different class opportunities like a 'movement/injury prevention' class, an 'olympic weight lifting specific' class, a 'cardio/endurance' class... there may be more. I get A TON OF VALUE from my dues.
(5) The people that own the gym are on point, I reached out about joining at around 8:30am to Gen and Kellie and they had both responded within minutes. They have a ton of athletes and they made me feel like they were all about that personal touch.
(6) They're open an hour later than almost every other 'box' in the area. I can do the scheduled workout from 6:30-7:30 and then workout for another hour at the gym and don't feel rushed. I certainly appreciate that. Nothing like wanting to workout and not being able to, right?
(7) The facility is huge
I have been to 4 Crossfit gyms in my life and this is BY FAR the best, it's crazy
