My 18 year-old son had some health issues where exercise was prescribed.
Training by Coach Nick and Coach Shawn far exceeded our expectations. My son improved by leaps and bounds, not only regaining his health, but also his confidence. Tampa Strength made it so fun and challenging that my younger son joined too! I can't thank them enough for all they've done.

I've been working out with Shawn for six months now, but my entire family has been going for years. I was never one for workouts- going to the gym alone left me bored and unfulfilled. Now, however, I can say with confidence that I enjoy exercise! Shawn creates a positive, uplifting space that challenges me yet provides ample support and encouragement. As a busy individual, a personal trainer is fantastic as it allows me to avoid worrying about planning my workout, injury or "embarrassing" myself. Tampa Strength is a great place to learn how to exercise safely and effectively and to have fun while doing so. Shawn, and the entire Tampa Strength family, meets me where I am while helping me get where I want to go.

I have been working out with Coach Nick at Tampa Strength for about three years now, and I LOVE IT! Everyone at the gym is incredibly friendly and ready to help in any way they can. The workouts are always different and the perfect level of challenging from when I was a beginner up until now! I recommend to anyone 10 out of 10!

This place is great. They tailor workouts for the goals you are trying to achieve and I would never done or have thought of some of the exercises on my own. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trainer.

These guys know what they are doing. I started working with John Weston about five months before my wedding so I would look sleeker in my tuxedo. John helped me transform my body. I lost 17 pounds. I lost 3-4 inches off of my waist. I stood up straighter. I gained muscle, and lost fat. Beyond looks, I gained endurance and strength that I had never had before. I was performing exercises that would have landed me in the hospital when I first started. John is great, easy to communicate with, and makes the workouts fun so that they fly by. He is incredibly knowledgeable and tailors the workouts to suit your goals. Also his music playlists are fire. I would highly recommend Tampa Strength and John Weston to anyone looking to lose weight, gain strength and stamina, improve posture, or looking to generally improve your physical health and looks.

My son and I have been training at Tampa Strength with Shawn for 2 years. Shawn is knowledgeable at all levels and stays up to date with current trends. He is very aware of what each individuals needs and strives to meet their expectations and goals. We would not train anywhere else.

A year ago I decided it was time to make a change. I needed a holistic approach, as I wanted to look better, but also feel better. Shawn developed a personalized plan that has helped me achieve my goals. The gym is clean, unique, and most importantly - fun. I look forward to our workouts and I would strongly recommend to anyone ready to truly make a change.

I can't say enough great things about Tampa Strength and my trainer John Weston. The facility is perfect for training, from a beginner all the way to a seasoned athlete. John is the most knowledgeable and personable trainer I have ever worked with. He understands how to challenge the body and keep you on your toes no matter what your athletic background. I would HIGHLY recommend John and TS to anyone who is serious about taking their performance or well being to the next level.

I started working with Shawn near the end of 2016 on golf fitness. All I can say is, does it benefit your golf game. Shawn's workouts consist of mobility, balance, flexibility, and my favorite, the strengthening. His workouts allow you to move so much better during your golf swing. Shawn's workouts are based on what you need to improve on to swing better. Shawn is a great guy and I am very lucky to have him as my golf fitness trainer. HIGHLY advise getting golf fit with Shawn.

Shawn and his team are top notch and have helped me in many different ways. Before going there, I didn't know how to properly stretch and lift weights without hurting myself and getting discouraged. He has helped me stay motivated and work hard. The results I've gotten are the best I've ever gotten in my life. I'm hooked. Member for life.

I started golf fitness with Shawn 7 months ago to prepare for the World Hickory Open in Scotland. The program focuses on building core strength, flexibility, balance and improving overall fitness. Shawn's program incorporates a number of different modalities including weight training, yoga, and something really cool ...."Stick Mobility". The results have been positive and well worth it. I am definitely more flexible and have greater core strength which have contributed to a better game. I recommend it to all golfers regardless of age.
