Awesome family-owned gym, open 24/7, offers personal training and boxing classes. The staff is wonderful also! Weekly and monthly rates are offered if you are like me and don't like to make commitments and they even offer student discounts. Highly recommend over other big-name gyms!

Best gym ever. Really clean, huge gym, ample machines. I can get in and get out and stay focused.

I bought memberships for me and my son. He was a high school athlete and would spot him. After high school he was recruited and went to play collage ball. We went to gym together and cancelled memberships after 2 years. I was appalled that I had to pay an additional 4 months for cancellation. I paid. 6 months latter I checked my bank account to find out That Frank Caltas was continuously charging my account for 1 membership. I stopped payments. At this time I started getting texts threatening collectors. I called and tried to straighten there mistake and at the end of all this Caltas charged me an additional 2 months to cancel membership. I paid 8 months to get out of contract due to there shoddy bookkeeping. When you cancel be sure and get it in writing. Terrible customer service. I feel violated and only payed to keep my credit rating. Would not recommend to anyone

Great Place here daily friendly staff and no bad egos. Even during busy times there's equipment for everyone

Best equipment cool staff and fair pricing. Plenty of space and equipment so no sitting around waiting. The ones that complain about this gym are the ones that want to pay 10$ a month to sit on their phones half their workout.

My name is Sharon and I have been a member of the Waters Ave Gym, as well as the Busch Blvd gym, and the Kennedy Ave Boxing gym for 20 years. That's how great these gyms are. My husband worked out on Busch Blvd in the 1980's before we met and remembers the machines that Frank Calta designed. Now we are just two old workout people in our 60's, but what better way to get old than by working out at Calta's gyms?.

To say this gym is poorly managed is giving the ownership too much credit. Zero maintenance is done in the facility, it was constantly dirty and unorganized, and the customer service is terrible. Due to a job transfer, I had little notice to move and they stuck me with almost $100 in fees that they immediately sent to a collections agency without sending me a bill or even a phone call.
Avoid this place at all costs. I would have rather gone to planet fitness.

Let's go ahead and begin by saying that this is one of the best gyms that you will find beating the competition in my oponion ,the gym is full of great people you will only find serious lifters in here that are trying to inprove their fitness goals , you remember when you use to wait for a machine for 15 minutes because you had 4 teenagers talking about how cool they were and all their goals but couldnt lift their life out of the hole they were in remember that you dont get that here you come in here to have your workout and inprove yourself mentally and fisically, and if you happen to have any questions or concerns there is always someone in the front desk and if there is no one you can always call the emergency phone number that you can get in contact at any time with someone that will be there to help you. The gym itself is clean it has a locker room shower all of the above the restrooms are always clean 24/7 i have never seen it dirty. When you want to bench there is always a bench open you want to squat there is always a squat rack open my guy my lady quit waisting your money in a gym where you feel unconfortable ones you come here ones you will never go away caltas gym have always lived up to its name of high cuality costumer service and making the enviroment better for evrybody else and encouraged you to cone by this will be the best decicion you will make.

Don't open a contract !! They don't have any terms for people who have to cancel a contract for emergencies. They don't have any terms for anyone who needs to cancel for any reason. You're forced to pay no matter what's happening in your life. I'll never go back and will make sure my friends don't either.

Terrible.. I don't know how to say when i got charged 80$ for 2 months... and when I try to cancle the plan... the owner will just give me variety of reasons that make no sense... don't come here... and stay away from it

This is my favorite place, the gym is amazing everything you need, friendly staff updated equipment I don't understand why an individual has to dog a place cause there account bounced twice like every gym there are late fees and if your responsible you would be able to control your money on that note, stop by and check us out we are one of the only gyms open 24/7 and everyone here is here for a reason not to just say they workout
