Great staff of knowledgeable and friendly trainers. The group sessions are wonderful and provide a safe and learning environment for you and a small group of friends/coworkers to workout together and better yourself.

Once you feel confident and have a good rapport with a trainer I recommend committing to a 1 on 1 session as it helps get a tailored routine just for you that helps you achieve your goals.

Lindsay, Joey and Athena are all fantastic as group traininera and one on one trainers.

Seriously Strong Training is the best place to start! I've never been to any gym before so I had my reservations. Being a newbie I searched for and tried free workout on other gyms within Tallahassee. SST welcomes you with a warm introduction and talk about your personal goals and how you can achieve it. Athena paired me to my awesome trainer Taylor who always pushes me to become better and stronger. Taylor teaches me not only how to use those equipment but also proper body mechanics which is important for my safety. He also helped me change my lifestyle to become a healthier one. Athena, Gustavo, Taylor and others who work at SST are very knowledgeable on what they do. SST is highly commendable and recommended!

Best gym I've ever joined, by far. I first did the 2-week free trial, which encompasses 4 personal training sessions, and I can't speak highly enough about how comprehensive the trainers are in terms of developing a work out plan for you, based specifically on your strength training level and the goals which you hope to accomplish. Athena was my trainer for these initial 4 sessions, and she seriously knows her stuff - she's also an excellent teacher and will push you to succeed, not push you to fail. I am now in the small group training sessions, and I appreciate the teaching and coaching I'm able to get in these sessions as well. Nadine, like Athena, is a great trainer.

I have been training here for over six months, both personal training and small group classes. This place is great! All of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the space is small but amazing. They can work with people of all experience levels. They got me working out regularly, and I appreciate the change in my life and energy level. We have worked on training, planning, and measuring progress. Highly recommended!

I worked out primarily with Andrew and for a little while, Brian. These guys are great--I have and would recommend them to anyone that asks. Super knowledgeable, fun to be around, and will push as much as you need it. I especially like that there are very few people working out a time and everyone is very focused on their workout--no folks standing around socializing and flexing in the mirror slowing your workout down.

In three months of working out here and following their diet guidance I cut my weight by about 25 pounds dropping my body fat 7%. My strength and body composition both improved dramatically.

The only downside is I've had to go buy a bunch of new clothes--I was a 40 waist when I started and now I'm down to a 34/36 waist.

Seriously Strong Training has hands down the best vibe out of all the gyms I've been to! Nadine makes my workouts so fun and is so knowledgeable about any aspect of fitness you would ever want to know. I had plateaued in progress at another gym but I've made huge gains since starting here. I am so happy that I found Seriously Strong Training!!!

Seriously Strong is seriously amazing! Brian was my trainer and he started off by asking me my fitness goals and what I thought were my areas of weakness. He tailored my session to help me work toward achieving those goals while showing me the correct form to get maximum gains. Brian didn't just help me utilize the gym, but he focused on my needs and how to make my workouts productive. I recommend Seriously Strong to anyone who is serious about their health and fitness.

I've been going to Seriously Strong 3 times a week for the last 3 months. I'm the kind of person that absolutely hates lifting weights, but I know it's good for me so I do it anyway. Working with Adam has taken away as much of the stress of having to work out as possible. I can't skip my workouts because then I've screwed him over and wasted money. I don't have to think about programming or keep track of progress. He constantly makes sure my form is improving. And he and the other trainers make a fun atmosphere that takes away a little bit of the misery of having to lift weights in the first place. Plus there is even a cute dog to pet sometimes! And I've gotten a lot stronger in the last few months. Definitely recommend.

I came to SST with Hashimotos + a back injury. I had tried physical therapy and so many other things including working with other trainers. It wasn't until I started working out with Athena at SST that I really started to feel better and stronger. She understood all of my special needs when it came to my training and past injuries.
Athena and all the trainers don't just put you through the motions. They stop, correct and TEACH you how to do better when you are on your own. There are even cameras so that you can watch yourself to check your form!

I'm constantly traveling for work and my schedule is always changing so it has always been tough for me to stick to an exercise routine. My experience was SST is the first time I've been able to keep up with my training even when I was out of town. Their support and routines while I'm on the road are amazing!

Added perks are all the great equipment and that the facility is always clean. During the cooler days the door was open and there was actually fresh air in the gym!

I have a long road back to regaining my health and I couldn't do it with out Seriously Strong Training.

SST was highly recommended by a friend. I had no weight lifting experience beside your basic dumbbell curls and was looking to learn how to lift effectively and safely. I wasn't looking for someone to just tell me what to do and push me to my limits. I wanted someone who did that, AND taught me how and why. Why will these lifts get me to my goal and how do I do them safely. I committed to once a week for three months, with my goal being that I would know enough to be able to effectively plan and execute my own workouts. That goal has been reached.
You get you money's worth here! The trainers are great at what they do and great people as well. I worked with Brian and he was awesome! I will be seeing Brian again in the future on an as needed basis. He was and is available by text. He was great at trouble shooting and figuring out what was holding me back on some lifts. He taught me how to eat better and not just diet, in addition to the work we did in the gym.
If you're someone who isn't comfortable in a regular gym for whatever reason, this is a very safe place to work out, be supported, and comfortable in your own skin. They are also very LGBTQ friendly.
Worth every penny.

I started coming to Seriously Strong Training in December of 2016, 4 days a week at 5:30am. By February I was coming 5 mornings a week. Then in the Fall of 2017 I decided to get up even earlier to train for 90 minutes instead of 60 because I love it here. My workouts are intense, my trainer Gustavo is knowledgeable, and takes the time to teach me the correct technique and form for each exercise. The SST team has given my lifestyle a complete overhaul: my nutrition, my lifting, and my strength are all much better than when I came in. I even take the trainers out to dinner sometimes because they have become friends

I am so thankful I have found this gym! Nadine is the absolute best, but everyone here is incredible and makes the atmosphere and gym experience so great that it doesn't even feel like a workout. They have made it possible for me to reach goals I didn't even know I have had. I can't say enough good things about SST!!

I am so obsessed with this gym.

As a weightlifting novice and a female, I felt particularly comfortable starting out with Athena and Nadine, my badass and insanely strong role models! Besides just being wonderful people, these ladies are incredibly knowledgeable and have taught me so much, while making me feel comfortable and confident the whole time. Technique is paramount, and everyone always makes sure that you are lifting safely!

Nadine has helped me progress so much over the last 6 months and constantly challenges me to meet new goals. Her background in CrossFit and gymnastics means she brings all kinds of new ideas to the workouts to keep things fresh!

Every SST trainer goes above and beyond to make sure that you're not only getting the most out of your fitness program, but that you are also comfortable and feel like you're a part of their Seriously Strong family.

So seriously, just go and thank yourself later!

Seriously (the name fits) just go here, you will have zero regrets. When I signed up, I thought I'd just try it out for a bit to jumpstart getting back into working out, and then go back to a "regular" gym. Now about 3 months in, there's no way I'm leaving anytime soon. Everyone at SST will make the gym your new favorite place. All of the trainers provide endless support and encouragement, and make you feel like a part of the SST family from the very first time you walk in. Whatever your goals are, your trainer will consistently work closely with you to achieve them by whatever means necessary. My trainer is Brian, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience training with him, so I'll let the numbers speak for themselves! In less than 3 months, Brian has helped me increase my squat by 65lbs, deadlift by 45lb, and bench by 15lbs. He adjusts the workouts to fit what I want, while keeping them interesting and even fun! I leave the gym knowing that I'm getting more than my money's worth training with a gym full of knowledgeable, dedicated trainers who truly want to see me accomplish my fitness goals! THANK YOU SST!

Very knowledgeable. At least a few trainers have degrees in exercise physiology.

Very strong emphasis on form. Andrew, my trainer, focuses on doing exercises correctly but at the same trying to gain strength, which I have.

Prices are reasonable. Prices would be higher, if not much higher, in larger cities for what you get.

I think if I had to focus on what makes SST amazing for personal training is the personal part. I have asthma and generally don't do well in the boot camp types of training but I've been training with Nadine for a month now and the training we do is specifically design for me and my needs. It changes and adapts as my needs do and as I become more fit. I am so glad I signed up! I love that they keep me in check, provide me some seriously personal training, and advise me on nutrition. I really think they have something amazing going on.

Seriously Strong Training is in a class of its own when it comes to personal training. It is an incredible facility for people of all levels of personal fitness. The gym is always extremely clean and the equipment is top of the line. All of the personal trainers are beyond welcoming and friendly. You won't find a better place to train in Tallahassee!

I just love my trainer, Andrew Cao. He has helped me to be the best version of myself that I could ever be. He was knowledgeable about injuries that I had sustained and helped me to work through them while being encouraging and patient. Also he took a lot of personal time with me and was available anytime I needed him outside the gym for questions and concerns. He is dedicated and kind and fun. I have lost 70lbs with his help and I'm stronger and full of energy and confidence.

I came to SST to get in shape for my wedding. After meeting Athena and Keith, I knew I was where I belonged. Working out at SST is like hanging out with your friends, except better...because you're learning how to live a healthier life and attain your goals. I've trained with Nadine, Athena, Goose, and Andrew: they are all amazing!! Each have their own specialty and make sure you leave feeling accomplished (and sore). After about 4-5 months at SST, I see a dramatic amount of difference both physically and emotionally. I'm so glad I found SST and couldn't be happier with choosing them! Definitely glad I signed up for a years worth of torture and fun!

I've been training with SST for almost 2 months now and my experience so far has been absolutely great. All of the training staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they foster an environment where you feel completely at home. They really listen to you and what your goals are and then create a program based on that. I've been training primarily with Andrew and Brian and they've helped me get steadily stronger across all of my lifting. Even though I've only been with SST for around 2 months I've already been able to increase the weight across all the main lifts (squat, deadlift, bench) thanks to their expert guidance and programming - I've been especially excited to have added 45lbs to my squat in that short amount of time. I've also really appreciated how the trainers focus on data driven results - they track your progress using multiple points of data, i.e. amount of weight lifted, calorie intake, etc. It has really helped me to stay focused on clear goals and see measurable progress towards those goals with each training session. Although seeing strength gains has been great, the best part for me has been the confidence I've gained in my lifting technique/form. Before coming to SST I had spent a lot of time learning about strength training on my own, which had been enjoyable, but I just never felt completely solid in my form across my lifting and I had been stuck in a plateau with my progress as a result. Now I feel much more solid with my technique after working with Andrew and Brian. This has honestly been the best part as I have a family and normally train at home so I can spend more time with them. Now I feel confident that when I finish my training with SST I'll know how to continue to get stronger in the safest manner while training at home on my own. I honestly feel that when you train with SST you're not just paying for a few good workouts - you're investing in the tools to make strength training a sustainable part of your life if you want it to be.

After struggling to create and stick to my own work out schedule, I decided it was time to find a trainer. I spent hours researching local Tallahassee personal trainers and going to multiple consultations to meet the trainers and feel out the overall environment. None of them seemed like the right fit for me, that is, until I found Seriously Strong Training. Keith (the owner) and his team of trainers are by far the best you will find in this town. Diverse and knowledgeable, they work as a single driving force to guide you in your journey to better physicality. No matter where you stand in this journey, they first hone in on building a stable foundation that's personalized to your own abilities; rather than being pushed through a typical structured system (like many other unmentionable trainers/gyms in town). That all being said, I've only been with them for 4 1/2 months and I'm already in the best physical shape of my life, and I'm only going up from here. So if you are on the prowl for a personal trainer in Tallahassee, stop wasting your time and money like I did, I urge you to give SST a shot and start the journey to become a better you!

I've built confidence, lost weight, and gained strength at SST. What more could I as for? As anyone on this journey knows it can be intimidating & uncomfortable to travel to our local Gold's Gym or YouFit to lose weight when you don't know what you're doing. The personal training staff here has made me comfortable and have kept me motivated. I'm so happy I made the decision to go with SST. I have worked with all the trainers at SST and they all are knowledgable and dedicated. I love SST and all the trainers! Thank you!

When I found SST, I was at a breaking point with my body. I hated myself and had next to no confidence that I would be able to make the changes to get myself back on track. All it took was my initial consultation with Keith and Athena to know that this was going to be different. Not only have the SST team helped me find my footing as I learn to lift, but they've also given me the tools to correct my nutrition habits. I have never liked going to the gym before, but I find myself looking forward to each session here. Although their clients are all different shapes, sizes, and skill levels, the atmosphere is so comfortable and welcoming. If you're looking for a gym with personalized training, I can't recommend SST enough!
