Deciding to start with Seaward CrossFit is one of the best decisions I've made in awhile. As a woman who has never lifted weights before and hates running, I was terrified to begin a membership at Seaward. I expected to see giant men flipping tires and running miles in full sweatsuits. My experience is completely different than what my expectations were. When you begin with Seaward, you take three private sessions with one of their well trained coaches. They teach you correct form and alignment, and give you great tips for how to make the workout appropriate for your skill level. In the classes themselves, the coaches are encouraging and helpful. Reminding you of key pointers while also encouraging you to give each workout your all. It doesn't stop there though. Zac makes an effort to get to know your individual goals and help you achieve them. All of the coaches make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable with the workout each day. There is also a sense of community at Seaward. Everyone is approachable and friendly, and make you feel like part of the community as soon as you start. Thank you Seaward members and crew for changing my views on CrossFit and for making working out fun!
