A beautiful, contemplative space to call home for your yoga practice and fitness needs. The owner, Claudia Baeza, has created a supportive community center for Sarasota yogis and yoginis of all levels. The classes are taught by caring and expert instructors. Pineapple Studio has created a range of weekly free classes for students with Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, anxiety and addiction, and also offers a full range of cycling classes. This is a great place to begin or sustain your yoga and fitness practice.
Best studio anywhere. The owner Claudia is by far one of the most compassionate and educated yogis I have met. The studio is also beautiful and a sanctuary. If you want authentic yoga , there is no other studio around.
I had the most wonderful class with Claudia. The space is perfect and serene. As soon as you walk into the yoga studio, a sense of relief overcomes you. The owner Claudia was wonderful. She really listened to my feedback and questions and gave modifications catered to my body. I took the Mixed Level Yoga class and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. The price is reasonable and they have discount rates if you purchase multiple classes at once. 5/5 I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
This studio is not about you or your practice. In fact, they are all about themselves and cashing in at your expense!
Claudia the owner is rude. They do not care about making it easy to purchase class packets ( for customers who come back and forth) and if you think you can use the money before it expires for merchandise in their studio, think again. You loose the $$!
Definitely way better studios in town with a much better vibe of a partnership. Run and run fast to a different stusio that cares about their customer base.
Found this studio while on vacation, and there is nothing like it! It is an amazing environment, nicely decorated, and the instructor was very friendly. It was a wonderful part of vacation with my mom and sisters, as there were different variations of practice for each of us to do.

Claudia the owner is rude, and not what I expected from a professional yoga instructor. Would not visit again.

I absolutely love this Yoga studio. Feels so warm and inviting practicing yoga here. A great variety of classes to choose from too.

I only give her Minus 5 for greed and the unbelievable level of rudness and hate. At first she was all pretentious and nice until $$ came up again and again. Then she treated me like dirt. So unprofessional.
Pineapple Yoga Studio is so beautiful and peaceful. I first went to the meditation and yoga class at lunchtime, and the owner, Claudia was so nice and friendly. It's a perfect break in the middle of the work day, and super convenient for anyone working downtown. I also tried the power class with Chrissy which was a great workout!
I bought a week pass to this Yoga Studio & it changed my life for the better ! The instructors here truelly love what they do & boy does it show when you take a class here.I have learned to do more positions & had excellent attention paid to me.The meditation here is also Incredible.Do yourself a favour a sign up for Any class.

OMG... I walked in to check the place out, met the owner at the front desk, complimented her, welcomed her to the neighborhood and said that I look forward to taking classes soon. I explained that I had been walking around and it was very hot outside, if she would be kind enough, I wanted to utilize the facilities to wash my face, etc... The owner stated that bathrooms are " actually for customers only" I explained that I would really appreciate it and in jest stated that I wasn't looking to take a shower, that I would be right quick. She told me that I needed to leave her studio, and that I was rude and to get out! I was taken way aback, apologized, explained that I was just kidding and am sorry if I said something wrong... I didn't explain that I was pregnant and honestly was feeling a little faint all of a sudden... I was about to cry, I literally apologized again and again but she insisted that I leave! " If you want to use the bathroom go back to the place where you just had lunch" ( I mentioned that the owner of the cafe on the corner told me about the new Yoga Studio). My question is what is she doing in Sarasota? Guessing she won't be here long, businesses come and go in this area. I have been a resident for over fifteen years - We were never this mean, were we? Looks like a place to catch some bad energy, I think I will Nama-Stay out of there.
