Station House is one of those places that doesn't look totally amazing from the outside.
Housed in an old brick building downtown, you climb a flight of stairs to get to the main entrance, which is actually the second floor and a pretty interesting workspace. You'll see a coffee and tea bar and a bunch of chairs and tables where people are sitting working.
There's also a yoga studio and a meeting room on the second floor.
Other floors of Station House are reserved strictly for people with memberships. I have one, so I can pretty much tell you the third and fourth floors are nice, quiet spaces where you can sit and work without being bothered. Prices vary depending on what kind of space you want.
The restaurant downstairs boasts a pretty good menu, and you get a discount if you are a member at Station House. I really loved the tuna tartare. It was the perfect size and the crackers it came with were really tasty, but not too thick or salty.
The downstairs area has a "speakeasy" kind of vibe. It's pretty dark in here at night so it would definitely be a good date spot. The service is really good, but prices can be a little steep.
All in all, this place looks like it probably belongs in New York design-wise. Definitely a hidden gem in St. Pete!
