I decided to join Fitness1440 last week because gyms in my district were closed. The 40 minute drive at first seemed daunting. However, due to the amazing facilities and staff I am considering moving to plantation to be closer to this gym. You will not find a gym with a steam room, sauna, outdoor gym area, massage room, weights, hot yoga room, cycling room and such a friendly staff for such an amazing price. Highly recommend.
Stopped down on vacation and grabbed a 1 week pass. Staff was very welcoming and it was extremely clean. Very well managed with an amazing vibe. Would highly suggest to anyone in the area, can't wait to come back. Amazing facility!!
My fiance and I found a six week challenge on Facebook and since we are very active we wanted to give fitness 1440 a try. I had 2p.m appointment for today and my fiance had a 3p.m appointment as well .
We got there at 2:00 and waited outside hoping someone would open the door for us. Finally we got in and we spoke to a lady that told us nobody was at the front desk today and when I told her I had an appointment to see Jillian she said Jillian would not be in today . We decided to stay and check out the gym on our own hoping that Jillian would show up for the 3:00 appointment. I have to say the womans locker room was very nice and clean and the steam room an sauna was very nice.
The fact that they stood us up on not just one but two appointments was very unprofessional and disrespectful to waste others time.
We didn't put our names on the guest list but we do have pictures to prove we were there.
I guess it wasn't meant to be.
I've been going to the gym for about a year and a half and LOVE it! I can't imagine ever going to a gym without a "Yard" . I love putting music and pushing the sled back and forth, sweating and enjoying sunny south florida. The people that attend the gym are friendly and it's a great sense of community. I really love the gym and the price is reasonable
I utilize this facility for weight training with free weights, and some machines. The only down side is that it packed from 7 am. To 9 pm. I prefer to go at 2 to 3 in the morning for better availability of the equipment.
The equipment that is needed is needed, I would have to say, the handles with strap connections are always a chore to locate two of the same, and there is cable crossover machines with alot of drag. Easy affordable fixes.
As for the Staff, I really dont know. I don't interact with any, except the man who cleans very well in the middle of the night. Very professional.

Great gym, helpful and friendly staff willing to help and answer questions . New equipment, great group workout sessions and terrific personal trainers available. I love that the owners are local people and pay attention to their clients .
Best gym in town, clean, updated equipment, staff are friendly and best of all , the membership is extremely friendly, love this place

I love this place. You never have to wait for equipment. The staff is polite and inviting. They really make you feel like family by putting you first with it's prices and class schedules. You won't find a 24 hour gym for this price with the amount of amenities in the local area.

Been going here for about a year now and is a great multi use gym with a pretty decent crowd that takes exercise seriously. Little small in the locker room, but cool place, and great location right in heart of plantation.

I have worked out at the gym for years. It's a good gym. You see the same people there. They work out hard and are very friendly. The only reason I don't give it five stars are the following:
1) The men's locker room: really tight and hot in there. I workout during my lunch hour and it is always 80 and humid in there. I know the layout probably cannot be changed but please, at least, add a fan!
2) The music. I know it sounds petty but the gym seems to play the same music on loop so every time I'm there. I am constantly hearing the same songs. Additionally, and more importantly they have speaker stations that blast the music. I wear headphones and many times I can hear the music over my headphones. Please change it up. Please turn it down a few clicks.
3) Please fix the front door. The one exit door has been jacked for nearly a year.
Otherwise, good gym, great people.

They hit members for an extra month's dues (which isnt mentioned in the contract they had me sign!), then don't have working air conditioning
