Pros:
Great location and good overall gym atmosphere. Weights are always put up for the most part. Also the cleaning crew always seems to be cleaning which I like.
Cons:
The equipment is OLD and machinery is constantly breaking. This location doesn't even have enough bars for all bench and squat stations. That's such minor expense that would help improve the gym.
Staff are welcoming , and equipment is clean, compared to other gyms, they have no problems when you actually works out hard, and push your training to the next level, ,
Good gym but the equipment is a little worn and the pool isn't the best. Locker rooms look clean but do not smell clean. I live 2 minutes from this location but wind up driving to goldenrod or Kirkman to work out instead. I work out mostly in the evening so closing at 8pm on the weekends is weak. Good thing I kept my PF membership for weekends. Change the weekend hours!!!
Only one hand sanitizer in each floor. No paper towel in dispensers. Many of the treadmills aren't functioning correctly. Most of the high qualified instructors have either left or have less classes. AC not working correctly in the main group class room.
The store has improved a lot recently. I like to come and do laps at the pool. The locker room was well kept. The staff was super friendly.
You will end up paying 150$ Initiation Fee. Their marketing team will not budge on this fee, and begin charging you 30$ for other renewal fees. Check out the equipment and some gyms have outdated equipment. Great new paint job but thats about it, not really any newer equipment that is innovative, nor helpful in people working out what most people like to work out, chest, legs.

Gym is just fine. The opportunity is with the Gym hours. Saturday and Sunday they close at 8PM... 8PM! By the time I get home from work they are closed.. other than that, it's a swell establishment so far. Better hours would grant more stars.

This Gym location itself is great - lots of equipment.
It is overcrowded usually.
The LA fitness staff in general is a mix. Some of the trainers and managers can be almost insulting. But most are very polite and friendly - just depends. I would not pay for a personal trainer at LA Fitness in general - other places are probably cheaper.

This gym is pretty solid, great variety, extremely clean and nice employees always helpful. Much better than my old gym planet fatness

If you want to train like a pro and develop massive gains this is the gym!
Excellent place and good company. Always space to get your training in. Pool, sauna and steam room included. Basketball and yoga rooms in addition.
Brand new gym, and yet somehow run down and poorly maintained. No hot water, hot tub dead. Broken equipment. Will not return to this location.
Large facility with numerous types and quantity of equipment and machines. Pool. Racquetball and basketball courts. Can get crowded during peak hours. Reason for only 3 stars - lack of maintenance. I seldom if ever see staff cleaning in general. Free-weight area more often than not disordered and messy with plates and random dumbbells scattered around.
Bad service! I told to manager GIGI that I will attend to the gym for 2 months only. She prepared a membership agreement and she said that everything will be ok! But when I canceled this membership agreement they said that I have to pay for 4 months! Gigi should have warned against this! I will think twice to go there next time!
Small location. Equipment was pretyy good, better than most locations. Really nice random people and staff, but they seriously need to do a better job cleaning up the place up.
The gym is nice and clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I rated the gym 4 instead of 5 is because many of the frequents there are loud, inconsiderate, and obnoxious. Bringing headphones is a must unless you want to hear about all that nonsense.
It's not bad, but as others have stated, they could use some cleaning here and there. The water fountains are kept at low pressure so you can't refill your bottles but halfway. Other gyms I've been to have bottle filling machines and so do some of the local public parks, c'mon, buy a decent water fountain, you've got the funds.
Playing basketball there is not ideal. Management has no culture or authority over them.

* Non members sneak through the back
* The equipment is garbage, they re-did the court but didnt fix the bent rims or add any new QUALITY balls
* There have been many car break ins, which are from people on the basketball court
* One guy playing basketball had his keys stolen and they took his phone and car. He had his daughter in LA Fitness Day Care. They were stranded. LA Fitness did give him a ride home though ( how nice). He has not been back to the gym since.
* Constant threats of fighting, shooting someone, and more
* If the roof leaks onto the court, it takes them 24 hours to address it. Player safety is not their concern.
*Again-- lack of culture or atmosphere.
* This LA Fitness like most... is nothing but the equivalent of a Fast Food chain of gyms.
Its a cool gym. The staff is nice. However, The bathroom needs some cleaning.

Today my husband and I went to this gym on Michigan rd , we usually go to the one on goldenrod but since it was close due to the hurricane we went to this one , we brought our little baby with us he's 7 months old and left him in the daycare for about one hour .
Then they call me and told me that they needed me in kids care and when I got there to check on my baby he was extremely crying so when this lady that was there gave me my baby back she said to me "that my baby was crying because of the heat in the room " and then she added "oh and by the way a few minutes ago your baby fell and bump his head" . I was shocked the way she explained to me she was so calm like nothing happened here of course cause is not your baby!
So she said I put the baby on the table for just two seconds so I could grabbed the other baby that was crying on the floor and then he fell and landed on a chair that was there cause if not it would have been worst than a bump on his head . So what got me so upset is the fact that this person waits until the last minute to call me and then say that he's crying because of the heat ? When he was obviously crying because of the bump on his head and then the manager there at first said that he wasn't the head manager ? That he was the second in charged and that LA FITNESS policy for the daycare was 10 kids per person , like seriously 10 kids per per one person?? ..... when we got there they had 7 more kids with mine and this lady was very neglected to leave my baby unsupervised on a table a 7 month old baby , he's only learning how to sit down , he's just a baby!!
They should not have only one person per ten kids!!!
When we go to the one on goldenrod they always have two persons there no matter the amount of kids that they have!
The Best Place to go to work out! Great environment, equipment, and team of trainers. Chris M, Operations Manager is great! Love to let know others the best place to go to get fit the right way.. I told Chris that even we leave 6 miles away from this location my husband and I keep going to this one because how it is and the wonderful team.
