Joining Crossfit has been decision for my health and lifestyle this year. I don't think I could have picked a better gym. I was a little intimidated at first but everyone there is extremely nice and welcoming. The coaches are beyond helpful and encouraging in helping you succeed!!
I used to think Crossfit was for people who wanted to work out until they throw up. Until I found Crossfit HeartCheck. Everyone there is friendly and super nice. All of the coaches are awesome! If part of the workout is too hard (or too easy), they will adjust it so that it is right for you. Greg is very patient - even if you ask the same question over and over. James will not let you get away with going easy on yourself. He will call you out on sandbagging, which is why I love working out with him. I haven't been to one of Stacey's classes in a while, but she is very knowledgeable and has lots of well-rounded experience. Every once in a while, she will see one of my lifts out of the corner of her eye, and let me know how great I just did (or helpful advice on how to improve). They are all watching you to make sure you have good form. We also do Crossfit competitions together as a team, as well as Savage Race. I love Crossfit HeartCheck, and I am proud to call this place my home for over a year.
I have been a member of 4 crossfit gyms in my life and have dropped in to at least 5-10 others. This gym has great coaches, great programming, great members and an overall great establishment. You will get better technique, stronger and faster by going here. They follow the Outlaw Way which is one of the best programming models there is. If you like crossfit or are interested in learning about it, the coaches will help you no matter what age or level of fitness you are at. The only thing you will regret is not showing up.
This is an amazing crossfit gym! The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, & encouraging. The programming works & will help anyone reach his or her own personal fitness goals. I highly recommend this crossfit gym! You will love the encouraging fun atmosphere & the training!
Up until recently I didn't have much interest in Crossfit, and was even a bit skeptical based on various things I'd read and heard. Somewhat serendipitously, I had the opportunity to attend a public event hosted by CFHC about the same time I was looking for a way to improve my strength and conditioning. Kudos to Greg Hadley for patiently taking the time to answer my questions both in person and via email before I even committed to taking an introductory class. I've been a member of CFHC for about two and a half months now, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. All of the coaches (Greg, Stacey and James) are very knowledgeable and willing to take the time necessary to teach proper form and technique. Additionally, they're able to quickly scale workouts for virtually any ability level...even for folks like me with no previous Crossfit experience. On top of everything else, there seems to be a strong sense of community among the members as we encourage each other through the daily workouts. If you're looking to improve your overall fitness and want to do it in a place with a great atmosphere, I'd highly recommend that you check out CFHC.

This is by far the most friendly inclusive and form conscious crossfit gym in Lakeland. I recently moved down from Orlando and was in need of a new box. I dedicated a week to finding the right place. I checked at least 6 different boxes before i found HeartCheck. They are by far the most qualified and helpful box you will see in Lakeland. Many of the other boxes i looked at made me feel like an outsider and that i had no place being there, but at HeartCheck i was meet with a very inclusive staff.
I would say if your in the need for the next step up from just moving weights around or your a beginner you'll need to check out Crossfit HeartCheck.
