Bad experience. Member since 2014. Updated my payment with them after getting new card, next day had fraud on it. Tried to get corporates number and Was basically stone walled. After canceling that card my account went in the negative. Went to pay it today and manager told me they canceled my account and would have to pay a new reinstatement fee and also offered a terrible deal. Would recommend another gym
Decent gym. There's always cardio machines available even during January! The weights lifting area does get a little packed during 5PM, but it's normal.
I have been a member for over 7 years and lived all over south Florida. This is probably my least favorite location.
Let me mention a few positives: clean, well kept machines that work. Most members are nice.
All LA fitnesses have two issues in south Florida 1# distracted, indifferent, cellphone glued staff and 2# messy members that don't re-rack weights so the whole gym is messy and you can't find weights ( the staff should be looking at their phone so less and cleaning up more)... but hey I guess you get what you pay for (25 bucks/month)
This location has other two issues 1# the club smells like feet and sweat. Probably they have never washed the carpets. #2 REALLY messy members, nobody re-racks their wights after use and often there are more weights on the floor than on the racks! Drives me crazy. You will also find a LOT of traffic during peak hours, so many machines you won't be able to use
The good thing about this gym is that it has extended hours, close later than most LA Fitness gyms, however it's pretty messy, no one care to put back the weights on the racks, not even the gym staff and it has poor maintenance. Half the men's showers don't work properly, the locker room floor has not had a deep cleaning for years. All this on a gym that's packed at any hour so I guess it's more profitable than the average. It will benefit greatly from a major facelift and a shake down of management.
Machines are very old, bathrooms so ugly, staff not that friendly gym its always pack and a lot of old people who just want to kill time. Gym needs to be remodel completely and replace all their machines.

Nice place. Parking lot sucks. There is security patrolling. Large pool. Large basketball court. Multiple racquetball courts. Bike machines need serious maintenance. Worse part is they double bill you every so often and you have to go through your bank to get it fixed.

Member since 2009 have been using the pool for the past 3 years and have found that the pool floor is dirty. Would be good for them to run a pool vac

It's terrible experience here.the guy wasn't honest and lay to me.they just want the people to sign up,it's really made me feel bad,I don't know other place of LA FITNESS,but I really really don't like the person and they provide the service here.I don't want to refer any my friend to this place.

I go to about 4 or 5 different locations of L.A. Fitness. Overall it's a great gym. Things will differ from one gym to another, unfortunately they don't have a set format for the machines and equipment. Some locations will have a better layout as well. Not sure how they figure this out in corporate..One of the best locations is the North Kendall drive and 122nd by the highway. This location isn't missing much. The Cutler bay location is missing certain things but not too bad. The Miller and 137th location is also lacking certain items. The 8th street and 140 something is very similar to the North Kendall and 122nd, it's not missing much. The only thing that plagues all these gyms is the putting back of weights. People are messy and don't care about putting back plates. The gym really can't keep up with the mess people make so I wont count that against them. Overall it's a good place to train.

Go every week 3 times a day everyone us awesome. Worth the subscription
Not to crowd..nice and clean.i always come to this gym during weekend since it's close at 9pm during the weekend..while other place close at 7pm or 8pm.
Also series after or before the movie since it's closes to Regal cinema.

Nice facility. Everything is in pretty good shape. Always a little crowded but everyone is pretty friendly. Good location right off the interstate which makes it easily accessible.
I love this location because the daycare lady in the morning is amazing!! Although, I gave it 4 stars because it is usually pretty busy no matter what time of day. I also felt the guy that signed me up for my pass was a little shady. I wish I got a better deal on the pass and wasn't lied to.
They have all the necessary equipment for you to have the best workout BUT it gets super packed and some of the employees are rude.
Terrible place got cursed at and treated extremely disrespectful. Never had been hurt so bad by a staff member of any organization in the 20 years i lived.
Machine in good shape but what is the point in reserve your class when nobody monitors that? Tonight my spinning class full and I got a reservation...People in the office did nothing. The class has just started and they offered no solution. Pathetic. I understand this behavior in Cuba but for God sake this is the USA.

They give you a complimentary personal training when you sign up.
If you are a guy... Don't expect them to call you... They won't.
If you are a girl just wait 20 minutes.
