To whom it may concern. The planet fitness in Hialeah is awesome. They know how to treat their members. I'm really glad I joined. I want to give a special thanks to Vicky & Kathy. Outstanding managers. Thank you.

I could give one more start to this place , but after been in other gym! And i am a very fitness person i have had the oportuno tie to visit many gyms around miami , i have to say that this location in specific is not really good, always full of people, people are not really nice , the bathrooms are not clean at all , specially the shower are really really bad. Staff is ok but the rest is a mess

I received excellent customer service here from Patrick at the front desk , he was very attentive and friendly and helped me with the questions I needed regarding the club.

Clean and nice atmosphere. Lacking space for more free weights. A lot of treadmills,ellipticals not being utilized. Staff is helpful and polite.

I went every morning that I was in town. I went first thing in the morning so it was virtually empty but very clean.
I was always greeted with a good morning and a smile!

I love this gym. I actually feel comfortable here. Great environment and great people. Its got everything you need for a gym and it doesn't get crowded!

This is a budget gym @ 10/15+ USD a month depending on which version of the membership you opt for. So for the money you do get value and function so this is the number one sell factor. Gyms in other countries tends to be at least 4/5 times the cost for similar function.

The positives are
The new manager is progressive and positive and exactly what the gym needs, there have been changes for the better since his start.
The weight machines and weight lifting areas are good and offer variety.
There is variety in terms of cardio machines
There are seperate work-out areas down-stairs versus up-stairs.
Machine covers and grips are replaced quite frequently.

The negetives are
Some defective equipment:
Most of the bicycles with a normal bicycle seat have broken or breaking chains, so these need focus.

I believe the new management will resolve this issues and at that time point I'll update this review.

As a whole the gym offers good value for your money.

Defective equipment:
I have a serious issue with the elliptical cross trainer machines.. Using them is a nightmare . They clearly need re programming. Management has verbally confirmed this .
The first five times I reported the issue I was friendly and personable but now I use the word unacceptable, I find the experience stress full and not conducive to a decent work out. So what's the point of a cheap gym if your equipment clearly does not function.
After weeks of highlighting this to the gym, I'm interested in solutions as opposed to anything beneath that.

Could be cleaner although the new manager has worked to improve this.
Staff only will occassionally say hello or greet you, depending on their mood, it's very mood based and reading other reviews I see other clients concur on this regard. I understand they're probably on minimal wage but management lead positivity and friendliness goes a long way.

I believe the new management will resolve these issues and at that time point I'll update this review.

Great gym! Very friendly staff! Definitely a place full of positivity, which helps you get your workouts done in comfort.

I've been working out here for quite some time and I love how I can go late at night. The staff is very friendly and will answer any questions one might have. Especially Melanys, she won't fail to catch your attention with her smile and make you feel welcome from the second you walk in. She has great customer service skills and will definitely clear any doubts one might have.

I had a great experience at my time in Planet Fitness in Hialeah. The environment was awesome. There was also, a girl named Kathy who was particularly extra helpful and attentive, made my whole experience that much better, that's how I think every worker should be.

To whom it may concern:. The planet fitness Hialeah is awesome. Mercy & Robert are always attentive and they make sure I have everything I need for a great workout. All the machines are clean and seldomly broken. Great place and great employees. What more can I say. I love planet fitness Hialeah.

I love planet fitness!!! I got a lot of details and information by Yicet!! I love the way she showed me around the gym and how nice she was. They have an awesome manger named Mercy and Robert very nice people

Clean, well-appointed, organized. Their no macho attitude policy keeps me coming back. I travel for work, and cab always find one.

Its okay for decent workout. They dont have a barbell that goes over 60 pounds. Therefore, i will be canceling in June. I need at least an 80 pound barbell. Smith machines are always taken. One lady was doing all variations of squats on the smith machine for over 30 minutes. What a joke.

What a scam!! I wanted to quit the gym and I called them to find out how. They gave me 2 options, 1) come in or 2) Mail us a letter. I moved away so coming in person was not an option. I mailed the letter to them and waited 3 weeks. Nothing. I called back to check if they got the letter and they stated they never did. How easy is it for them to just ignore a letter?? Then they told me I had to send the letter with a signature request, something they didn't initially tell me. The signature request cost money too. The woman on the phone has poor customer service skills and her tone was poor. So upset with this customer service experience.

The staff overall is amazing but if you go make sure to ask for Ernesto. He made the signing up procedure extremely easy and made sure to explain everything to me exactly how it is. He does not hesitate to answer any question and speaks spanish too :) the gym equipment is in great condition very clean environment and most importantly it's a judgement free zone

Let me use my black card, machines worked, massage bed worked, you have to go upstairs, and its a bit crowded but havent had a bad experience.

Crystal and Jasmine were extremely helpful when I was trying to straighten out a confusing situation and this wasn't even my home gym. I wish it was though. Every time I have visited I have been treated great and the gym is always so clean and kept up. Great gym all around.

I enjoy coming to this gym and haven't really had any issues. Machines are never really broken and it's never been suuuuper full. The only problem that I've had is when trying to do the 30 minute express workout - there are specific rules there, moving from one machine to the other every minute when the light turns green. We are NEVER able to follow the machines in order (they are numbered) because people like to go there since it is less empty and they stay on the same machine. When I asked management (various times) he would make an announcement to keep moving and leave and maybe one person would go upstairs wheee they should've been in the first place. Very frustrating.

THE WORST PLANET FITNESS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I feel disgusting after just going into the locker room! There is no way you could even pay me to shower here! There is so much missing equipment. The dumbbells are in absolute disarray. Good luck finding a matching pair - and if you actually do, somebody is using them. I accidentally touched the weight end of a barbell, and it looked like I had run my hands across the top of a dirty ceiling fan blade. Just a completely disgusting excuse for a gym!
