By far one of the worse gyms I have been to. Whoever is managing this gym should be fired, really surprised they. I am sure if corporate knew how this gym was being ran and how everything is just scattered 24/7. Gym has potential to be amazing but the staff is not doing their job in order to keep the gym up to standards.
Employee's do not put up weights before the end of the night. Weights are scattered all over. It will take you 30 minutes just walking around in order to find the needed dumbbells. I thought going at 5 am the weights would be racked, but boy, was I wrong!! By far ones of the worse managed gyms I have been to. Definitely will not be coming back to this location, maybe just to take pictures and post them on here.
By the way, there is no zero star, otherwise that would be their rating.
This gym the free weights are always scatter around not on the rack. I understand that their is a sign for member to re-rack the weight but when people do not do it the gym employee should keep nice an neat. That's the only negative I have about this location.

This LA Fitness on West Flagler sucks but you will have no choice because it's close to your house.
No one returns their weights. You have the typical Miami Girl that's with her friend hogging the squat racks for an hour and just talking while playing that ratchet Hialeah Music.

My workout ! Great location. Nicest of all the la fitness
Not nice manager. Never enough weight or mats for the classes. The audio for the classes is bad and mostly too loud. The instructors are great.

Coming from porkys, la fitness is terrible. Too many cardio machines not enough gym. Not to mention the people that go there.
Edit: this place should be called ESTAFO fitness or ROBO fitness. I signed up literally 3 months ago and have already paid over 200$. When you sign up they don't tell you nothing about the term and agreements. They told me you should've read it. You find out when that stuff hits your wallet. I was told I was paying first/last months + initiation to get charged 2 weeks later for another month. Now an annual fee when I've only been a member for 3 months??? They blame the employee who was new. Total lack of training and irresponsibility of management for throwing an untrained employee out on the sales floor. They offered me for the inconvenience.. 30 days free for a friend. WTH? I'm the one paying and you offer someone else 30 days free. What about me? Not the mention some of the employees there walking around at closing "n***a can't you see we're closed" Whoever trains these employees is a total joke. On top that everything is scattered everywhere! Good luck finding a weight in there.

Always really packed with people. All the equipment thrown all over the place and hard to get in a workout without having to hunt down a machine. Also, the people who go there don't have much consideration for others by leaving their garbage such as colada cups and monster cans laying around the floor. Other LA fitness locations have been way better in my opinion.

Went to get a guess pass and was greeted by Laura who was a total asshat. I asked does it cost for a guess pass? She says you want a pass as she rolled her eyes and sounded snotty least to say we got the pass but never used it
Could have been a five star... but half the people who go there think the gym is a night club people play to much games especially the woman trying be all cutesy.
Pool was too crowded and the aqua fit class did not left every as it should when the finished. The pool does not have shower either to use before and after to jump into the pool, so people all sweaty from the gym jumped into the pool without not even a rinse . Not good.
Amazing gym/club. Coming to this gym is always a rejuvenating experience.
Marcia is the worrst instrctor of Yoga .She is a nasty and rude. Please don't go to this horrible class. She should be nicer.

No matter what time you go its a mess. The Dumbell Racks are always empty. They don't have enough employees. The Bathrooms are dirty machines breaks and weeks to fix. I have never seen a employee really re racking weights. A kindergarten student could manage this place better. They don't care . Just want your money and no service to customers.

The gym is great. However, the people who work out there don't pick up their weights. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Lots if machines to choose.the swimming pool is provide as well. Closed to restaurants and wallmart. I always go shopping after work out.

Always clean, good equipment, the worst hours for parking is from 5 to 8pm. The staff does what they pay to do but never smile. The new layout make the place less warm or nice like Bally's

Always dirty, put your hand on any machine it will be covered in dust. Weights are never put back just look at the picture they have here and machines are always broken.
Nicest, biggest studio I've been to. And I've been to about a dozen la fitnesses.
Personal training needs improvement
Ypu should be charge if you go. Want to charge for not going. The make you sign a strange contract and do not let you see it.
Even without contracts they charge.

Always crowded, no one ever re-racks the weights. Tried complaining about it with management, but no help. Staff usually sits around talking or on the computer, rather than making sure people follow the rules.
Standard gym, gets the job done. I wish clientele wad a little more considerate and re-racked their weights. The eye-candy is solid too.
The early am is the best time to go. Forget the afternoon. No one follows the 20 minute rule.
very spacious .. has all the machines and weights you need to get a great workout .. you just have to know how to time your visit .. first thing in the morning is the best time and a bit later in the day before the evening rush .. only complaint is that no one has any consideration with regards to the free weights .. people just don't rerack .. won't change until management actually enforces the rerack policy .. also, it would be nice if they had another water fountain closer to the free weight area .. pretty long walk for a sip of water if you don't bring your own water .. that was a bit of a failure in design
This GYM its one of the best LAFitness I ever been.
Its mostly clean, AC, Pool and Sauna its always working. The staff are really nice and overall deserves a 5 start.
If I could give them a 0 I would. DO NOT GO HERE! The staff is super rude, especially the operations manager. The sales staff harass people to do personal training and once you do it you are no longer a priority. They do not follow through with all the promises that they make. They will lie to you on all the terms! READ EVERYTHING before you sign!
By far the worst LA Fitness I have ever been too. I travel quite a bit and have gone to LA Fitness gyms all over and I have never come across one as bad as this one. Good luck getting a good workout in, besides it being overcrowded you end up getting people who just sit on the machine and are playing on their phones. I'm not talking about skimming or changing a song while you rest, I'm talking full blown having a 20-minute long conversation on their phone sitting on a piece of equipment. People asking if he's using it and of course he is. Let's say your able to come at the small window of time that the gym is not overcrowded your workout will still end up taking longer than it should, why? Because you have to do a treasure hunt to find the free weights they are everywhere. I mean everywhere! Just picture an explosion in the weight racks and the free weights landing all over the gym. You'll find them by the bikes, by the smith machines, by the sit-up mats, in the dance studio, at the juice bar.
This is not a one-time occurrence it's an everyday thing and it won't get fixed until management changes policies. Members should get written up for violations, too many and your out. The pictures are over the course of several weeks. F-
There supper of the chain the girls are fine and they help l a lot with any situation quickly and professional y and super nice .
Being LA Fitness, I am aware that I won't get the best gym experience ever. That being said, this gym is bad. Real bad.
I'll start off with the weights, you will find them all over the place except on the racks. People use them as seats, to give a machine more incline, the staff even use them as door stoppers (seriously). There is a "Please Rerack your weights sign" at the front desk but it is the most ignored sign in the world. No one has gym etiquette and the staff do not enforce this rule (at Porky's you got your membership cancelled, gosh I miss Porky's).
This place is dirty. The mirrors look like they have never seen Windex... They are covered in spit / sweat and is really, really gross. The racks have tons of dust bunnies around them, like they never vacuum this place!
My recommendations:
Enforce your own god damn rules.
Clean your god damn mirrors.
Clean the god damn floor.
Make the gym experience a little bit better, going to the gym itself is hard already.
Oh, and if you are reading this review and share the same opinion as me, please complain to corporate too, the more people complains, the quicker the issues get resolved.
This is the worst la fitness in all of South Florida. There's no rules. Nobody working besides the janitors. Everyday weights thrown around all over the gym. Everybody who uses the gym places there gym bag on one machine and uses another. You will never get a good workout here.
