I have an extremely busy schedule and I told him I had 5 minutes to get the signature series la fitness membership. He did exactly that. The facility is perfect and I travel a lot so I can now excess all LA fitness locations. Very satisfied with the customer service representatives and my gym memberships!
One of the better fitness centers in the area. They have a pool, basketball court, spinning room, weights, and all the other workout equipment.
I loved this great gym! Just the BEST! The stuff is very well trained, evething is always sparkle. I could pick up best gym...the best one I trained! 10000 stars!!!
This place the food was just as good as all the other locations that I been to except their fried ice cream was better . It was creamier and it had more caramel that definitely made it stand out . The customer service was great and the food came out really fast . All the staff were friendly and the place was very clean will definitely come back ...

This particular location is clean and well maintained. Though there are accomplished body builders there, there are many more part-timers (like me) of all ages (I'm 61), so I've never felt the least bit conspicuous or out of place.

You can tell he feels tiny and inadequate with every other aspect of his existence. Poor tiny little man, I'd pity the idiot if he wasn't such a douche and bigot.

Always clean, friendly staff. And cycle class is always good
I am tired of advising the manager the ladies locker room is a dirty pig pen.. The door to enter the pool and Bathrooms has been broken for 2 months now. The entire gym floor has pieces of papers to pick up nothing is wiped or vacuumed??

Good yoga teachers, but the whole place smells awful. The staff either gets paid minimum wage, or else the management must really suck; the front desk staff look absolutely miserable, and the weights are only restacked at the end of the night. If there was a closer gym with good yoga teachers, I would quit this LA fitness in a heartbeat.

Ample parking. Plenty of machines and weight sets. They have snack area, a pool, and an elevated running track. Pleasant attendants and trainers. Usually clean.
In a safe part of town so an evening visit is okay.

Great gym with everything you can possibly need to get a good workout. Very neat, offers fresh made smoothies.

Could be a good place if they would provide spray clean bottles and paper towels throughout the work out area. It's very unclean. The machines and benches are covered in sweat from previous people and there are only 3 cleaning supply stations in the whole building. They need to take a lesson from Planet Fitness and supply cleaning bottles/paper towels throughout the facility.
Just watch out for the shirtless guy with twig legs that sets up a tripod to record himself and you'll be good.
So I am a manager of the Delray Beach running company where we promote gyms for our fellow runners to go to. I went in to this location to workout after my parents had canceled their membership I was on after receiving an email that I had until February to use the membership. After going inside and starting to workout my mom called and said that the girl Nicole at the front desk said I ran away from here when she never said anything to me upon walking into the gym. I went up to the desk to be a good patron and ask what the problem was with me working out and showed the email I have received stating I had until February 15 2018 to use the gym. Roberto the manager then told me I had to leave the gym unless I paid! That made no sense after the email I showed him and physically had as well as I should of never went to the front desk to see what the issue was and I could of just stayed. Roberto was super rude and not helpful. What a great experience at la fitness Delray
It seems like most of the negative post have to do with $, finances or personality differences. I'm sympathetic to them, but come on folks! If you sign a contract it is your responsibility to read the fine print and clauses before you sign it. If you don't ask direct questions about your new membership don't expect someone to know what your thinking. If you can't afford to pay the monthly bill, then don't take out the membership and blame the staff for it when you call in and complain.
Other posters claim how good it is about the gym's ability to provide a quality environment and state of the art equipment to help maintain a fitness lifestyle, and good body composition. Some claim it's not clean enough, and others claim it's very clean.
I've been a member for more than 20 years and most of the clubs are about the same everywhere. But LA Fitness still offers a reasonably priced club membership to keep up with your health conscious goals. I don't know what more folks want?
The clubs give me everything I need without making stuff up of what's wrong with the place that's from normal wear & tear. I think many folks are unfortunately negative and don't appreciate what they have. It's a great club and people that work there will respond positive to you if you present yourself as a positive person to begin with. Peace!
Great energy, lots of equipment and the personal trainer Nicholas is one of the best trainers in Del Ray Beach.
The gym is well-maintained w/regards to cleanliness and keeping the machines functioning. In the Boca LA Fitness and towards closing many times, I saw them actually cleaning the benches, the handles, etc. of most of the machines or the like. While I haven't seen them actually clean weightlifting benches, seats, handles, etc., I would bet they do because I see the cleaning crew a great deal of the time. The parking lot is well-lit and quite abundant. I've never seen seen police or security rolling around the area [and maybe that's a good thing]. The patrons are normal people and most are genuinely nice. I've never really needed to talk to staff but them seem OK. My beef is w/the sauna. Although -- upon returning after a 8 month hiatus -- they put up a flyer outside the sauna indicating that you are not allowed to put any foreign objects or liquids on the rocks, they failed to indicate the penalty for doing so. Moreover, the last 5 times I was in the sauna, I had to deal w/members spitting or pouring the contents of their previously drunk-from water bottle on the rocks, placing a vile-full worth of eucalyptus scent on the rocks, and the placing of their sweaty towels over the rocks. When I politely confront them and/or try to stop them, I either get the "I didn't know" or "Who the F are you" routine. While I'm no slouch, I don't want some lunatic following me out to the car because I reported him. Because when I complained to the manager, he told me to come out immediately and report them. I told him they should have staff members enter the sauna and check up on at least the scented garbage some of these idiots put on the rocks. Obviously they can't prove anybody did it, but they can shut it down and clean the rocks and indicate why it was shut down. They should also include some warning that your membership will be revoked if caught placing anything on the rocks. Finally and just like elevators, fire extinguishers, etc., they should have some sort of date and person's initials or signature [conspicuously available for checking] indicating the cleaning schedule of the rocks and wooded benches inside the sauna. For now, I avoid the sauna like the plague [pun intended].
I have a membership here only because its close to my house staff is rude. Typical south FlorIda girls who as one review said have the personality of a cucumber. Gyms very crowded pool jacuzzi are disgusting. It is what it is close to where I live but if you have other options I would go
I visited this fitness center on Aug. 6 to inquire about options for my working out there for the 1-month that I would be visiting Delray Beach. I was told by Frank that the best offer he could make was a charge of $95 for that period. I thought that was high, but with the intense heat in Florida in August I really needed an indoor place to work out. So I agreed to pay that amount and was provided a key ring card to use to enter the club. I received no other documentation. It's now one month later; I have returned home from Florida and I've been notified that I will be charged $32 each month for my continuous membership at this fitness center-- which is located 1000 miles from my home. So far my efforts to have that charge removed and future charges ended permanently have been unsuccessful. Each time I called the fitness center's number I received an irrelevant recording, with no option to leave a message. I may have to work with my credit card company to dispute and remove the monthly charges for this and future months.
