We are really impressed with this location. It is always clean and seems to cultivate a good gym culture that is not intimidating. No one is being innapropriate in the dressing rooms and we feel very comfortable and safe.
We LOVE the cinema. Brilliant idea.
The sauna is really great especially for treating arthritis in the winter.
The music in the dressing room is a bit loud, which can be kind of intense sometimes if it's rap or techno.
If you install a few wall hair dryer units like they have in hotels it would be awesome for not leaving the gym on cold days with wet hair.
I was working out solo here until one of the staff - Rich - took me under his wings, and we started training together. He has helped me make the substantial gains in muscle and fitness I thought I could only dream about. He is always positive, friendly, and sincerely the most hard working man I have ever had the pleasure of working with. This gym is also kept so clean and organized because of Rich and is own personal supplies. Rich deserves all of the credit in the world. When you go in, ask for him.

Love youfit but there isn't a youfit here in holiday fl can't driv all the way to Clearwater to go to the gym .I got a membership at LA Fitness is a little bit more but they have a indoor pool with hot tub & Sona nice fre weight area & some machines that youfit don't this place is awesome
I go here with my boyfriend once a week and we both love this location. Sometimes there are too many people on the benches and they seem unwilling and unmotivated to move along faster or share, but other than that, the facility is always clean, I have found the front desk people to be reasonable, sensible, fair, and friendly. I forgot my drivers license once, but they remember me and my boyfriend so they made an exception and let me come in (he has the pass with one guest card -- I am his guest). I think they are heavily committed to cleaning the gym. There is always someone walking around picking up rubbish and cleaning. We don't live in Pinellas anymore but we come out once a week to visit his family and friend, which is why we go there once a week. We usually go to the YouFits in Tampa, and they don't compare. Seriously. They're like another world compared to this one. This one never smells gross, and the others do. They take pride in being a clean, reasonably well kept gym. Other gyms should take note.

This once friendly, easy-going, easily-accessible gym in the Clearwater/Largo, FL area has taken a big turn for the worse since closing down 2 locations to open 1 super-sized location that is almost always so over-crowded its annoying (unless you don't work). I had to leave many times because I couldn't get on free weights and other machines between 4 - 8 pm. YouFit also closed down their New Port Richey location. Most of the new Largo Missouri Ave. front desk staff are pretentious, are difficult to work with on issues, and often unfriendly. Entering the club has a new not positive feel now. It's hard and sometimes impossible to get answers to issues now at Missouri Ave location. It's nearly impossible to get a manager to speak to you when you have problems. It's totally impossible to get a higher level manager's contact information. It's impossible to get contact information for anyone at local YF corporate office to talk to about your issues. Seems like the Missouri Ave. staff have too many things going on to give members a good experience at the front desk any more. The Missouri location just doesn't feel like YouFit to me in . The Clearwater and former East Bay Ave Largo locations used to have extremely friendly and were always easy to deal with. What happened YouFit? Someone is ruining what once was a good, easy-to deal with local gym with many locations into one that is usually over-crowded and harder to use regularly. If you don't live in West Largo, you'll be driving an extra 40 minutes and if you have the Lime Card, you now have 3 less location options. I saw very few people in the new Cardio Cinema area. Members couldn't use the very nice, large group workout space to do non-traditional cardio and fitness exercises when there aren't classes in session. Bring back the old YouFit to Pinellas County.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES ARE FULLY IGNORED BY THIS COMPANY!
The hot water was consistently out during the time I worked out at this location in Q4-2016. The staff was all very nice, but seemed like they were powerless to do anything other than sell memberships, answer phones, scan tags, and process cancelations.
Equipment from old location. Still good and usable. What got me was customer service. 3 ladies at the front desk look like they don't want to work there. So why come to work. No fans, I was wondering why I was having breathing problems at this location. I understand cutting costs but just going to be moldy and sweat smells. Again, recap on this location, usable-good equipment, and amenities but poor quality customer service and no fans.

I have cancelled my membership multiple times; they continue to bill me saying I have an outstanding balance even though they admit to seeing my account was frozen many months ago and then cancelled! The worst customer care and admin ser. So annoying

I love this place! Nobody bothers you you always have somewhere to workout! And it's very enjoyable and there's also a movie room if you just want to be in the dark and watch a movie and in a different atmosphere they have it. Lockers, Sana, showers, whatever it's all there.

Clean, bright, great machines, and great people!
As I said before. I am an amputee and when I visited other gyms I could tell in a minute that they were not very eager to have me. But when I came to UFit they made me feel so welcome. The staff is just terrific. When I'm at U-fit I'm just another guy. And that's the way I like it.
I am missing a leg but at You got no problem. They do everything they can to make my visits terrific.
Brand new youth it's been open for a few months that's pretty good like I said new equipment staff is friendly got to know if you have my work next door the prices ain't too bad can't beat it

Really enjoy the people and staff. My only gripe is the weekend hours are ridiculous. Why close your gym at 8pm?? Some of us work evenings and still want to get their workout in, instead of going out to the bars. You should revisit your hours of operation on these days
Beautiful clean and friendly atmosphere, I was very impressed with the movie theatre, very nice and UNIQUE touch work out while watching a movie what's more relaxing than that!!
I just had the WORST gym experience in my life! I want to start off by saying that I first started working out at Youfit back in 2015 at the Pinellas Park location, and then in 2016, I started working out at the Youfit in St Petersburg. I never had any problems working out at either of those gyms--other members were polite and the staff seemed to care about all of its members equally. Well that is not the case in Largo! Apparently Youfit in Largo only caters to the steroid-using muscle meatheads! I was lifting weights and decided to do tricep pushdowns on the pulley. Well, all of the pulleys were being used except for one, so I went over and started to use that pulley. That's when some musclehead behind me said that he was using it. That surprised me because I could see that he was already using another pulley. I mentioned that to him and he said that he was using both. So I asked if I could work in on this one because he was tying up two pulleys. He scoffed and quickly started using the pulley that I asked to work in on. That was insanely rude! Even more absurd is how management handled the situation. I went up to the front desk and told them about the incident, so the manager went and talked to the guy. The manager then explained to me that the guy was doing a super-set and that I just jumped in front of the musclehead. Are you kidding me? I did not see anyone using the pulley...why would I assume that someone was holding it for a superset?...and why should the musclehead's superset be more important than allowing everyone to be able to use the equipment? Also, the musclehead never told me he was doing a superset, he just responded rudely and unsportsmanlike--I can't read minds. The manager made me feel like I was being rude for "jumping in." In my mind, I was not "jumping in" because no one was using it, and when the musclehead told me he was, I simply asked to "work in." After talking to the manager, I went over to the pulley because it looked available and I thought it would be okay. Nope! That's when the musclehead started yelling at me and saying that he has been a member of this location since it opened and there was now another pulley open and I should use that one (I honestly didn't think he was still using this one!). Well I guess he thinks he is entitled and more important than the rest of us and the manager seems to agree with him because while the musclehead was yelling at me, the manager came over to me and told me that he was revoking my membership for causing a scene. Are you kidding me? I was not the one yelling at another member for trying to use the equipment. All I wanted to do was "work in." But apparently you can't do that at Youfit and if you ask to, then you get your membership revoked. The manager then told me to follow him up to the front desk, so I did. I told him that I needed to go to the locker room to use the shower and get my belongings. He said that I could not do that because I would be "trespassing." He threatened to call the cops if I went to the locker room. I told him that I was indeed going to shower and get my belongings and to go ahead and call the cops and have them escort me naked from the shower. I was able to use the locker room without incident, but when I left, I asked for the corporate number and the manager told me that I was not allowed back at Youfit. Don't you worry--I will NEVER go to Youfit again. There are plenty of other gyms, and unless you want to be intimidated and bullied by roid-ragers when you try to use the weight equipment, then i highly suggest you look elsewhere!
I like the gym. I'm still trying to adjust though. My last gym seemed to offer a little more as far as exercise equipment goes. Over all I'm happy with the decision my wife and I made.
Everything is ok until you try to cancel your membership & stop them from taking the money out of your acct. I moved & they wouldn't let me cancel over the phone, they say "they have to be sure it's really you canceling", yet you can sign up on-line! So they will take your money not knowing it's you, but won't stop the automatic deduction every month unless they "know it's you"? How did they even say that with a straight face? So i had to drive an hour and half round trip to cancel it. What if i had moved out of state? Then i had to pay them $10 on top of all that. I would never recommend that anyone give youfit access to your account unless you plan on being a member until you die! good luck stopping them from taking your money every month!
I went to the ribbon cutting ceremony. I liked the gym and was considering a membership for my daughter and myself until Jenny Lee opened her mouth. She is the rudest person I have ever met. Kat and Courtney were very nice but Jenny Lee killed the deal for me.
Signed up to get my Mother active and they closed East Bay Rd location 2 weeks later. Mom only lived 2 blocks away and doesn't drive, so I wasted my money
Some of these reviews are outrageous 0 validity. I don't see how any staff member here would allow anyone spend "$200-$300" dollars; unless they purchase a. I came in spent the 12 dollars for a day pass and immediately had an assistant manager explain pricing and how I could save. The greeting staff at the door behind the counter are always friendly, consistent in customer service and I appreciate that very much. In addition, their phone etiquette is amazing. One thing I'll say, there are a couple personal trainers there who are pompous in their demeanor, they stare at you without saying hello and have this arrogant (trying to act tough is my perception, I work on a psychiatric unit of a hospital so I am unmoved)aura about them that's extremely irritating. Its especially irritating when you attempt to be cordial and say hello and they look down there nose at you. Overall, aside from them its a gorgeous facility (I hope members will assist staff in keeping it clean) and I got mad love for Damian who signed me up and those who work at the counter. I see the store manager who always appears to have a smile on his face.
I have had my membership for a long time. One as in the middle of both gulf to bay, and east bay location . I was very disappointed when they closed both locations and open the one in Largo, we made sure to have the lime card so that we had tanning and everything included and the new location got rid of all tanning beds that was part of my routine I do feel that we should have been informed the location would be closing and everything would be transferred without our permission I feel that I should have been informed of the changes to make that decision to keep or to drop not to have it switched over without my okay very disappointed
Closed the location and moved my membership without asking. Now have to come to their much farther Largo location just to cancel.

No thanks. There are many reputable gyms around. This one is complete fraud.

I know this because two months after canceling, I still get notices that my payment is late. Even their accounting is lacking. I advise everyone to find a better gym.
Was visiting from out of town. First workout is free, all others are just $10. This facility has EVERYTHING you need for a great workout. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish we had one near my house!

I've been going here for 2 years. the facility is always clean! The staff are friendly and the patrons respectful. I just recently started with a trainer, I am pleased by how personal the workout routines are and the trainer is super informative and helpful! I was thoroughly impressed with the management at this gym!

Clean gym and annual fee disclosed up front possible management or policy change. I don't use personal trainers and have not used tanning yet will update once that's checked out.
