Do not use this company! They are the worst. All they want is your money. They lie and have you sign paperwork contradicting what they supposedly are selling you. I should have taken 3 hours to read the fine print before I signed. Shame on me for that. I thought I could trust them. Shame on them for their deceitfulness. Never, ever use LA Fitness, at least not in Largo.
Fantastic gym. Immaculate facility with a diverse amounts of equipment and classes, and helpful staff. Everything is well spaced to give yourself some room to workout. Amenities include weights, cardio machines, racquetball courts, basketball court, swimming pool, studios for aerobics, yoga, spin and other classes, clean locker room facilities & sauna. If I had any wish to add on, it would be a steam room.
Facility is large and clean. New to the area and wanted to check out my options. I didn't feel comfortable with the Fitness Representative's (Ricardo) approach, didn't feel welcome. Definitely not starting the membership at this location. Condescending tone overall.
What I liked about this gym was the variety of the equipments as well as the multiple amenities. The gym includes a pool, sauna, multiple showers, and a lot of lockers available. It also offers different classes such as biking classes or zumba classes. It's clean and big, but it does get too crowded at certain times of the day. Also, they could do a better job at hiring friendlier staff and qualified trainers!!
Love the gym and going everyday good choice for a life decision
I love coming to LA Fitness it is a great gym for the whole family. This gym has all the weights and machines that I need to keep myself going. The only complaint that I have is whoever designed the sauna did not design it to where it can be effectively clean on a regular basis it is very dirty and I could never walk in there without shoes on. My other complaint would be the hot tub is also not the cleanest one to go into despite the fact that I still do you can see the Grime on the edges of the hot tub. Fix those two problems then it would be the perfect place to work out at.
The place is always very clean as the pool, the staff is always very nice and helpful but the jacuzzi is not always very clean. Overall LA Fitness is a great gym.

Good new gym. At least they built this one lime they have for years and not get cheap like they did when they built Seminole or Tyrone with no racquet ball courts..
One of the few places offering water aerobics/exercise after 5pm, which is so great. Great instructor as well. Thumbs up!
Great gym, has all the amenities you need. My only dislike is that you cannot go in the training area when they are training to use some of the equipment. Between the hours of 5 and 7 is the busiest so if you like to use the weights good luck!

Walked in to some of the best customer service I've seen in a while. It was refreshing. This gym has so much to offer. It's very impressive.

Beware when signing up for this gym. They lie to you.. Read the fine print!!! Plus the zumba floor very dirty, many broken machines, AND they don't sell water!!
These people are scam artists interested in nothing more than your credit card. Once they have it, they do not want to help you with anything. ANYTHING. If you call them, you will be transferred without warning to their corporate office if they don't feel like helping you. Then they'll tell you to get help from the local club. It's a vicious cycle. The managers that are supposed to assist "fix" everything are never present.
Storytime: Cameron, the former Personal Training Director of the Missouri Club, sold my brother and me on packages for 8 personal training sessions per month for $160/month. That sounds like a good deal, so we went with it. However, Cam would always schedule an extra session with us off the books with him, then one with another trainer on the books. We found out later the contract was actually for 4 sessions/$160/month. He did not honor his originally stated agreement. Now we are stuck paying for something that was not a part of what we had agreed to with Cam, because he promised us something that was not true. How he explained this contract was incorrect. They allow their employees to lie, then do not care if their lies hurt people financially. Cameron's boss was supposed to contact me, and never has. My credit card keeps getting pinged for $160 even though I was told by one of their reps in the corporate office it was canceled and I would no longer be charged. There is another lie. I have yet to be contacted by an actual manager.
They are still taking money out of my bank account, out of my brother's bank account, and out of my credit card, and we have not been to their club in MONTHS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY!!! THEY WILL NOT LET YOU GO!!!

I just joined LA Fitness today and went for my first training session. I was so pleased with the facilities and the warm welcome from the staff.
My personal trainer was awesome. The parking was very easy and access was really user friendly.
"Have an award for being the cleanest LA Fitness in Pinnealis County" This picture is rhe drain od their main water fountain. Check out the Jacuzzi too. Maybe third world country clean.
A little crowded at certain times but not bad .This location has improved in the past few months very happy with LAFitess.
Really great experience going to this LA Fitness location. Awesome facility with plenty of equipment, benches, dumbbells. They offer racketball courts, a full size basketball court, a pool, a sauna, and a lovely locker room. The employee Logan, I think he was in the membership service/sales department, was very kind and helpful. Not at all pushy or overbearing like some employees at gyms can be. GREAT LA Fitness location!!! (If only the locations in Pennsylvania were similar).
Love the big open atmosphere and variety of the equipment. They could probably stand to wipe down the equipment a little more often and also the personal trainers there are not very friendly and outgoing towards the members. I asked one trainer named Alan about a piece of equipment that was re-cabled incorrectly and it never got fixed and he never once talked to me again thereafter. If they fix the cable bicep machine I'm talking about that got re-cabled too tightly (it's too low now and you can't reach down to grab the cables without almost injuring yourself), I will consider retracting my gripe and giving the club 5 stars.

Cons: Usually dirty(even @5:00am). You can see the dried sweat on the machines. (gross) I have never seen anyone cleaning. Paper towels and empty water bottles laying around. So sad for it being a new club. They should put a roll of wipes in the front desk employees hand instead of their cell phones and have them clean! Desk employees are NOT friendly or helpful. Don't waste your money here. I am definitely looking for a new club. I have had enough!
Never thought I'd say I love a gym. Plenty of equipment, plenty of room, not hot & smelly:). 2 stories, which is nice. Great lap pool, too.
Adequate machines and free weights for most health conscious folks. Clean facility. Sauna is ok but small. Hot tub is usually open but sometimes closed for no obvious reason. Good protein drinks at juices bar. No steam room.
The sauna doesn't work? You think a newer facility would definitely make sure the dry sauna works. I realize people pour water on it and short it out, but if it was at normal operating temp then people wouldn't feel the need to make it hotter. Sauna should be between 150-220 degrees!
