This is a great little place. It just needs a couple of fans mounted to circulate air and we'll be happy.
Really nice gym. I like that its not insanely overcrowded either. I needed to get back into free weights and planet fitness just wasn't doing it for me anymore. This was a nice upgrade for about the same price. The ladies at the counter are also really nice and helpful.
Joined this gym around 4 months ago. I have no complaints. People are nice and courteous. The front desk people always say hi and bye. The locker room has private showers. I mainly use the free weights area. I do wipe down the benches before and after each use, because not everybody does. It's the same as at most gyms. There are only a few bench presses, but at least they're free weight style. I asked about fees before joining, because of other reviews, and they were patient and explained everything to me. Good place, good people. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Friendly staff and great equipment! All classes included in membership and lots to choose from. Nice, non franchise, local gym. Highly recommend :)
If you are looking for a local, affordable, comfortable gym this is it. It has everything that you need without all the stuff you never use that you have to still pay for. The staff is welcoming and friendly and so are the other gym-goers. The equipment is plenty new and you can workout at your pace without waiting for equipment or feeling rushed even at peak hours. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean. Honestly it's the best gym in the Cape. I don't personally do the classes but I see them going on all the time and their schedule looks packed with good stuff. I'm also a big fan of supporting local businesses! Price is fair. I've been to all the gyms in Cape and this is one of my favorites.

The gym has old dated equipment they charge you once a year for cleaning fees like 50.00 and the place is clean dust on equipment. Tons of hidden fees . Cost me like 40.00 just to cancel my membership. When they send the padding out to be fixed machines are down for weeks. Place isn't even worth the $11.00 a month. Calogero Oliveri

Cancele la membresia antes de lo 15 dias del mes en curso. Page el fee de cancelacion, y me hacen pagar un mes mas con el derecho a ir. No lo esperaba pero cuidado lo tienen en letra pequenas en el contrato. Lean bien antes de firmar contrato con ellos.
went in a took their quick tour...great if you want a gym with no showers, pool or sauna. music was overly loud when I went so could barely hear...not a kid so I couldn't get into the music and wouldn't want to exercise to it

They make is as hard as possible to cancel membership even though they boast no cancellation fees.
This gym has many hidden fees and it is an extremely mediocre gym. They pretend that the membership will cost a certain amount, but forget to mention all the added fees; even the cancellation fee. The machines are out dated and mediocre at best, I suggest you try to get a membership at another gym that does definitely not carry the gulf coast fitness name.

Great staff well maintained equipment and very clean! During season you want to avoid going after 10am. and after 5pm so you can get to all the machines to have a proper workout otherwise. Its hardly ever too crowded. Ive been a member since it was golds gym and now gulf coast fitness is running the show better than ever!
Buyer beware, you try to cancel, they dont then you dispute the charges, and they rack up 6 month worth of charges then send you to collections, so you have no option but to pay them and pay 60 for the collections company, or let them ding your credit. Avoid the headache go with another gym, save yourself a few hundred dollar fight, where your forced to bend over and take it, vs the negative credit score
A lot of equipment is broken at this place, and there doesn't seem to be any effort to get it fixed. It is a reasonably priced gym however.
