this place is awful!!!!!!! strait up scam artists and nothing but fake girls that sit behind a desk all day making sleezy sales calls with a sleazy sales pitch like used cars salesman. you go in one day to sign up for one rate and the next the "special" is over and it is another. just a scam

Great classes, friendly staff, and a clean facility!
I've been a member of Shapes for years. I love this gym. The trainers are all friendly and always willing to answer any questions. No pressure to join extra classes, so you choose what fits you and your schedule. For all the negative reviews regarding a contract, that's on that person for not reading, understanding and asking questions. Go Shapes!!

Hi. I. Just joined the Brandon Shapes for the water exercises. I love the pool as I can easily walk into the warm water. The instructors are very energetic and keep everyone moving. I really like doing the routines. There are many machines, bikes and stretching equipment to use. Come and join us . Diana Houghton

It is great working out with other women. The trainers are very knowledgeable, great array of group fitness classes and very caring management
Shapes is a awesome clean gym with great customer service. All the staff is super friendly and helpful.shapes offers a lot of fitness classes,even classes the for kids. They simply the best!!
Shapes has gone bad- been a member since '83 was suppose to be a life time one time fee plus $20 year for life. They sell each and every facility separate and then tell you they do not have to honor a previous contract. Now my $20 is up to $58.00 + an annual increase. Plus, Last year they started a new process called administrative fee that you have to pay to a billing company an additional fee, if you refuse to pay that because it's not in your contract they didn't tell you they no longer have to honor your contract. Very deceptive customer service practices go somewhere else while you can . Don't buy a long time plan - they will not honor it. They are short lived. All will be out of business soon.
If i could put zero stars i would but sadly i Dont have that option. The staff are really rude. Many women come to this gym because it is females only, as we were told. But here comes sunday i come to workout with my friend and i see a guy freely come in to join the gym. I cover my hair and body so i felt completely embarrassed and humiliated. I ran to the locker room to put my regular clothing on and went out to ask the staff why they didn't make an announcement and she told me "I didn't know you guys were back there" i mean were we the only ones that come to this gym just because it's females only?? No i dont think so. This was so rude and they should have made an announcement. She sassily told me it was on the schedule and that i should have known. No i dont have to know since i dont have the schedule. So am i supposed to magically knows it??? This gym is wayyy too over priced for this bs.
Dominique offered for me to come back to this gym @29.99 a month... I agreed gave her my card info... looked at my email receipt and she charged me 75 dollars... said 25 was a smart start and that there was a processing fee of 17... I told her I did not ask for the smart start and wanted it refunded. she put me on hold and a sales manager came on the line. she said that I ether pay 25 for the smart start or it will be an enrollment fee. I told her I was mislead and that I do not want a membership at all. She told me that it would be refunded. I called this morning and spoke with sales manager Liz who told me no I would not get a refund that either I pay to be a member or they will put that balance towards something I owed them in the past. I told her that I would retain a lawyer if I was not refunded and she hung up on me... This place is absolutely horrible and I will post it everywhere I can.
