Awesome teacher with great philosophy .. Been going there for few months and it's focussed on a holistic yoga not just the physical part.
Gentle yet challenging classes that leave you with a feeling of deep peace. The classes are never the same, so it is always fresh. Both Keshava and Radha have extensive knowledge of anatomy and are quick to notice your placement and offer modifications to keep you safe. I go as often as I can and highly recommend this studio.
I also take my husband, who is recovering from hemiparesis from brain injury from a car accident, for private sessions with Keshava. Keshava´s extensive knowledge and gentle, challenging classes have helped rebuild both his body and his mind body connection. Fantastic

I have been playing around with the idea of trying yoga for years but always put it off. It was finally time and I found the right place. The studio, instructor and students were unassuming. The class was informative and helped with my stress immediately. Someone else in the class told me people come back here for years. I can tell the instructor was knowledgeable not only about stretching and strengthening but more importantly the practice of breathing and meditation to quiet your thoughts and connect with nature. I can't wait to go back. I can tell this will be a huge lifestyle change for me, which is just what I need.

Amazing classes, and amazing teacher (who teaches all the classes). I've been going for nearly three months, almost daily, and have never had the same class twice -- rarely even the same postures. It's a very powerful, yet ultimately relaxing, class, and at the end I always feel drained and refreshed. I've tried many different yoga classes, and this is my favorite. The main focus is relaxation, which I need personally and professionally (who doesn't, especially in NYC), but great side effects are flexibility, fitness, energy, and peace. It's a small enough class so that you have space to do all the poses and not worry about bumping into your neighbor. There's also a large amount of time between classes, so you can relax or meditate, or just sit for a moment and let the class have its effect, without being rushed out of the room. Hatha yoga is great for low-impact, but full-engagement exercise, and it's especially good for studying yoga in general, because you learn to do each pose properly and with focus, so that if you then do other types of yoga, you're doing it more effectively. And Keshava, the instructor, is great at guiding everyone, and pushing everyone -- while respecting each individual's issues / limitations, and explaining how to do each aspect of the pose, and its purpose. Keshava and Radha are two amazing and genuine people. Plus, there's tea at the end!
Wonderful relaxation and experience! Go at least a few times and see what you may feel and learn. Challenging physically and more!
Small, peaceful studio with great people, both the teachers and students. This classic style isn't exercise, it's therapy for your body and soul. Meditative, slow, but intense. Keshava has a deep knowledge of anatomy and won't let you hurt yourself, but always provides a challenge; Radha has the voice of an angel capable of taking me to another plane. These two love what they do, and their passion comes out in their practice.

Amazing. After years of trying different yoga styles and teachers I never knew how amazing Yoga could be until trying Kesheva Yoga! I've Never Been So Aware Of My Body, Healthy And Alive. :)
