Amazing classes, and amazing teacher (who teaches all the classes). I've been going for nearly three months, almost daily, and have never had the same class twice -- rarely even the same postures. It's a very powerful, yet ultimately relaxing, class, and at the end I always feel drained and refreshed. I've tried many different yoga classes, and this is my favorite. The main focus is relaxation, which I need personally and professionally (who doesn't, especially in NYC), but great side effects are flexibility, fitness, energy, and peace. It's a small enough class so that you have space to do all the poses and not worry about bumping into your neighbor. There's also a large amount of time between classes, so you can relax or meditate, or just sit for a moment and let the class have its effect, without being rushed out of the room. Hatha yoga is great for low-impact, but full-engagement exercise, and it's especially good for studying yoga in general, because you learn to do each pose properly and with focus, so that if you then do other types of yoga, you're doing it more effectively. And Keshava, the instructor, is great at guiding everyone, and pushing everyone -- while respecting each individual's issues / limitations, and explaining how to do each aspect of the pose, and its purpose. Keshava and Radha are two amazing and genuine people. Plus, there's tea at the end!
