I love coming to this gym! They know me by name which is amazing! The staff and trainers are amazing. They really care about your health journey. My personal trainer is amazing and she pushes me to want to be better. When i first walked into this gym i was nervous but the staff greeted me with a smile and i cant ever imagine going to another gym. Definitely come check it out you'll say to yourself why didnt i come here sooner!
Facilities are always clean.Equipment well maintained.Friendly, helpful staff.I've been a "gym rat" for over 25 years, YouFit E. Colonial has been my choice since they opened. I have no need to look for anyplace better!
This review is based on my opinion:
I liked some of the parts of this gym, having tried a week long trial,the desk staff for the most part were nice and easy to interact with, they allow powerlifting and they have a lot of machines if that is your thing. But what I didn't like outweighs what I did, this gym is the single most crowded gym I have ever been to and I have been lifting for over a decade. The crowding is intense and its there in the early morning and the late night, there are CONSTANTLY people in your personal space no matter where you move and using anything at all is akin to fighting a constant war with the 20 plus people trying to use whatever it is your using, and some of the gym members are really impolite about asking or will sit two feet from you waiting while talking under their breath, then when you finish they will do so little weight that its hard to understand why they needed to use what you were in the first place, there are only two squat racks which normally would be fine but getting into a squat rack takes about 20 minutes of wait time on a quick day.
Al in all I would seek a different location the overcrowding was terrible, I love going to the gym but this gym made me hate it.
I love this gym. They have great equipment and the staff is really friendly. I am giving 4 stars because they always have the sign up in Men's restroom saying, " Woman attendant in the restroom for cleaning" and I have never seen one in there, which if you ask me is deception of the highest order XD

Unfortunately about 50% of members dont have proper gym etiquette as they dont wipe machines after use. The other 50% that attempt to wipe come across a lack of properly stocked supplies as you find yourself searching for a spray bottle and/or paper towels stocked in the bins. I'm sure if the supplies were kept up and stocked, the percentage of members that wipe after use would increase. How can you practice proper gym etiquette if the supplies are not available for you. Also would be ideal if their were signs throughout the gym floor instructing people to please wipe after use. It's common sense although sadly there are those who need that extra instruction to do something as simple as cleaning up after themselves. This gym gets very crowded at peak times and this lack of supplies is it very unhygienic and a liability issue as people can easily get sick.

Youfit is a wonderful choice to make if you are looking for a gym that has a full schedule of classes as well as every kind of equipment you could possibly want or need. There are no contracts and you can cancel your membership at any time before your your monthly payment is due. I love it!

I've gone at different times and it seems that it's slow around 5-6am and 9-10pm (during the week) but that's it. Otherwise you might be waiting to use equipment. If you're looking to use mainly machines and treadmills, that isn't ever as busy as it is by the weights. They don't have enough space for how many members they have.

This place is trulygetting me back in shape! It gets a little busy in the late afternoons but theres still plenty of space for everyone to work out. My trainer/YOUcoach Brittney kicks my butt with every workout but shes awesome and shes really helping me reach my goals!

I like it here at the Alafaya location. Although I have only gone a few times. I like that it is just the right size and amount of space and equipment for someone like me who has fallen so far off the fitness wagon and is slowly getting back into the rhythm of working out regularly. I don't feel intimidated when I go in. The staff seems nice. It is not far from home which is really great . I do wish they had a small sitting area for guests or 1 or 2 machines for individuals with disabilities so my mother in law could attend with me. There are some very slow times at this location, so maybe we can figure something out.
I am looking forward to utilizing this facility as part of my arsenal in my journey to better health. The pricing also makes it a no brainer. I have the limecard so looking forward to using the benefits.

Not the great space for a gym. Went in to take a quick tour and to find out a membership. Stood around for over 10 minutes with no help so I just tour the place on my own. Needless to say I didn't not and will not be joining.
Not a bad place, but really not enough equipment for when it gets busy

Way too many members and NOT enough equipment. The gym floor is poorly laid out and the PT Personal Training Area is in the middle of the gym and is rarely used. A waste of space. And...you can NOT jump rope in the gym. Staff claims its a liability as someone may get hit with the rope. That's a new one. Restricting someones goals when the the "goal" is to get fit and reach goals, seems very contradictory. You can NOT jump rope even in the group exercise room which is huge and rarely used outside of classes. The Gym could use a hammer strength circuit (maybe eliminate the PT area which is rarely used.). Remove a few treadmills and add AMTs and Ellipticals. Staff spends a large amount of time fraternizing at the front desk.

Great Gym! Clean, all yes, I mean "all" equipment which means there is a lot of equipment in specific area's for our body. Treadmill's tons of them plus area for stretching, havy and weights n heavy equipment and classes too.
First gym I've ever been in where it feels like home. The machines are in great shape and never too crowded. Only reason it's shy of a star is because while I'm working out I'm in the zone mentally, then out of nowhere a worker would come dust clean the bottom portion of my treadmill while I'm running. Other than that it's a great gym.

Don't waste your money with this place. They don't tell you if you cancel you will be charge $10 and have to go in to sign the cancellation papers or they will keep charging your credit card. Not very happy with this gym. Also the gym is crowded and also the classes. Started out with more Zumba classes and now they are fewer and late in the evenings.
Chris was such a great customer service rep and he solved my issue right away ,no literally lol . YouFit needs more employees like him . Thanks again Chris and if you ever have issues . He is your man .
This is what happens when the planet fitness health club's pricing model is used by a real gym. This is hands down the keast expensive gym in orlando. The staff is friendly, and facilities are clean. I have been going there for 6 months and so far only two people present with questionable tattoo choices. 10/10 great gym.
Love this place! Always upbeat and fun staff and the gym is clean and the machines work. The two biggest reasons i left la fitness.
Want to wait on 4 girls talking on the phone sitting on a bench hanging out with 4 barbells and 8 free weights scattered around them? Come here. Wi-Fi doesn't really reach the weight section. 2 stars only because it's cheap. I've been to about 7 locations and this is by far the worst setup and has the worst members. I've loved every other location.
edited for 1 star. A third is closed off for personal training, and then another large section was shut off for more personal training. This is not a serious gym at all. This place is a complete joke.

I can honestly say I'm quite disappointed in this gym and their company. I enjoyed my time there at the beginning but things started going down hill once they cut the free WiFi off for all but premium members, and members aren't even allowed to use the workout room after the fitness classes have ended..meaning wasted space that members could be using. I mean the space could easily fit 10 more people comfortably which would get rid of some of the crowding in the benching and lifting areas. If they're going to start charging people, they might as well upgrade with the money we are giving them.
Great gym, they have everything I need but do need more equipment and to extend hours on weekends, they don't open until 8am which is too late for me to go before work. Also with the large number of members it wouldn't be as crowded. Other than that it is kept very clean and the staff is so friendly.
Have attended this location since visiting Orlando. Always clean and friendly staff. Have had good results here and mostly use the rowing machines.
