Had a great work out. The only concern was everyone had to use spray bottles to clean machines. Please go back to the wipes!!!
If you're looking for cardio this is the place to be. Tons of cardio machines multiple styles of treadmills, two kinds of elliptical, bicycles (I'd sumi. Free weights and machine weights are offered on a limited basis. About 2 types of each machine. . No rowing machines though. The black card lounge had only LOUNGE massagers, they are NOT beds (where you fully lay down) They also have the massage coistyle chairs if that is your go to. Both standing and lay town tanning beds. Small locker room. Bring your own wipes as this is a busy gym and the paper towels run out fast. Overall good staff and great team atmosphere.
This isn't a real gym, you can't grunt on a hard set, not enough heavy weight, powerlifters and strongman aren't really meant to be in this gym. Also maybe get a actual rack and not a Smith machine for all of the barbell exercises. Not good for people who are intermediate or relatively strong. This fitness center is intended for people who might just be starting. Even then there's plenty of local gyms that cost a bit more and won't limit you as much as this place.
It's a nice facility. Never need to wait for machines. Men's bathroom area is something to be desired but nice place and pleasant staff. Workout with Randy. Yep. You will feel the burn!
My 1st experiance with PF friendly staff only down side no free weights which is a bummer, but very clean and organized nice sized facility. easy membership options got a membership for $10 only 25 cents to start im only in area for a few weeks so very worth it (may change so ask)
It's a good gym with plenty of equipment and relatively clean. The reason I have it only three stars is because in the 30-minute exercise area, there are always people there that are just too lazy to go use the correct equipment when they aren't partaking in a 30-minute workout. Constantly I'll find the trainers even doing one-on-one with others in this area. It lost another star because when I brought it up once to the front desk that I couldn't complete the correct workout that they themselves describe because it's overrun by people not doing a correct 30-minute workout, I was told, "Dude, there are plenty of other equipment, I'm sure you can find the same one that's free in the general area." I later found out he too was a trainer. I've been here a year as a black card member, but I'm pretty sure I'm done after that. Follow the rules! I can't do the one thing Planet Fitness is providing.
I've been a member since 2014 and overall really love this gym. I recently upgraded to the black card because they upgraded the perks, and now use theassage chair, hydromassage, and total body enhancement every time I go in.
All the exercise machines are new as of the last 8 months or so, and include ellipticals that have handles and pedals that go forward/backward, ellipticals that can changes step height with static arms, recumbent and spin class style bikes, treadmills, stairmills, a 30-minute express circuit, full body circuit nautilus-style weight machines, free weights, cables, and a squat rack I believe still.
The equipment, floors, and facilities are all well cleaned by staff several times daily. Locker rooms are large and include showers, bring your own lock. Lockers are only for daily use, any locks left on over night are cut and contents removed.
The staff is friendly but usually has a bit of high turnover. Maybe with the upgrades that will change.
The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the 30-minute circuit is NEVER oversoon by staff, and meatheads often take it over. It's a real downer to tell someone who is using the designated equipment (and has watched you go through 20 minutes of the timed program) that it's your turn on the weight machine they've been hogging and repping since you started. I literally have to point to the sign that says "this area reserved for 30-minute circuit only and is monitered by staff" EVERY. FREAKING. TIME. Same thing with the cables and the squat rack. People will take equipment and use it for an hour without consideration.
Along with that there's a dress code which is never enforced. Now, I am in shape and we'll toned, but first off I don't want to wear OR see people working out half naked - it's unsanitary and not the beach. I have seen women in just a sports bra, string tops, booty shorts, etc... beeing oggled and chatted up by male staff - they sure don't mind.
It can sometimes be difficult to get the staff's attention at the desk, though again they are always polite and usually have a smile... And it can get busy.
Overall a good gym for the cost.

Overall a good gym for the cost.
I cancelled my membership because I'm serving overseas.
Planet fitness is still collecting dues, despite having a cancellation letter from me in triplicate.
This outfit is dishonest and you should be aware of their fraudulent practices.
Most staff are friendly and helpful. Tanning booths need attention and new bulbs. The bulbs have been sitting there since I've joined 3 weeks ago!!! I do love going there.

Ms. Hailey did a fine job of showing around my client with visual impairment. She also helped him feel the equipment and accompanied it with proper verbal descriptions of the equipment layout. On subsequent visits, Ms. Kelsey did a fine job of directing my client to the various workout stations.

I paid for a membership to this location online a week or so ago. Went in this evening to get my membership card and I thought I would be shown around a little, however, I was handed a tag and that was all. The young lady only asked me for my name and birth date, told me to step back for a photo and nothing else to confirm I was who I said I was. She didn't even ask if I had any questions. I've heard this location is terrible but it's close to me. I will try another location. I did not feel welcomed at this location. Staff needs to do better.

I like going here. People mind their own business and I can have a peaceful workout. There is plenty of parking and in the summer at this particular location you can take a stroll by the riverfront to get some fresh air when your done.
Planet Fitness in general is great, but this location sucks.
You have to love when you walk in and there are 3 employees behind the desk, all on their phone, making you wait to scan in. And then you go in the men's locker room to find a make employee in a phone call (or once on a video call!) In the locker room. Last week I had to walk to 3 different stations to find one stocked with paper towels to work down there treadmill when I was done. They didn't have his water for over a week. It's obvious the picked rarely gets cleaned.
And as far as the actual gym goes, there's 3x as many cardio machines as there need to be and 5x as many as stations. Free weights and Smith machine are always full.
Poorly designed and poorly run. There are like 4 employees I see regularly that look like they actually care and are doing their job. But I see about 8 that just stand around on their phones.
Better score for me since the remodel. Friendlier workers that don't seem to mind helping you when you really need help.
Great place for a novice to come in and workout. I was intimidated at the thought of a gym but it turned out that everyone was nice and the equipment was clean. Loving going here!
Been going off and on. (Not often enough) The expansions and renovations are pretty nice. My only problem is that have abs station, yet it's one of the most used of the weights there.
Instead they put in 4 horizontal sit-up machine that look more like massage chairs than an station. Which can easily replaced by doing sit ups by your couch.
Overall, the membership is cheaper over some of the others. Can't beat 10 a month.
A good place to exercise at a very modest price. Plenty of equipment for everyone to use. Locker rooms and showers could use improvements.
Enjoy the place. Wife calls it adult chuckle cheese, but she likes it. We tend to try for less busy times since our schedule is flexible.
OK place. They get you in with their cheap monthly fees but make u pay if u want out. Just OK. For the price its worth it imo. Wish they had more free weights/power racks.
Facility is always clean, staff is friendly. Don't plan on showering if you are a lady, unless you enjoy showering with ice cold water. Not a drop of warm water comes out of the nozzles. While on the other hand my boyfriend has taken steaming hot showers over in the men's locker room. Please fix this!!!
Location near my office and hands down the cleanest and most friendly Planet Fitness I've been to! Staff is very nice and welcoming and equipment and gym area is taken care of...I'm glad that I have a work gym that I like better than my home gym!
This is my favorite gym! I'm Saturdays it isn't that busy but throughout the week from daytime until 10pm it's pretty full, after 10 it gets a little empty but it is definitely a no judgement zone! Come as you are and have fun exercising. They have tanning beds as well as a room that rejuvenates your skin.
Something has recently change there for the better. The facility has been very clean, the equipment is always shiny, the staff has been very friendly. I was close to cancelling a few months ago and forgot about it. Then I go in to cancel and the manager starts to process but tells me about the renovation and the new massage stuff and the classes, I ended up not cancelling and instead I'm back in the gym! Good job to the staff and management for keeping me in shape!
I have belonged to this Planet Fitness ever since it's opened. The staff always does a great job keep the facility clean. The equipment is in good working order. If something is out of place and needs to be addressed for repairs whether it be a piece of equipment or something in the locker rooms, Planet Fitness tries their best to get it resolved. It'd be nice to see some different pieces of equipment, but for $10.00 a month it's hard to complain to much. Aces to the staff and management for continually putting in the work. Thank you.
The gym is clean, as is the locker room. There is typically no wait for the machines. My only complaint is that when it's busy it send to take the staff some time to scan everyone in, which is a bit annoying. Obviously it's a good price.
I have been a member for almost 3 years. I rarely have ever had to wait for equipment. I'm a morning person and there is plenty of equipment available.
All new equipment was installed about a year ago.
