Use to be a great gym, but now it close..
I would highly recommend you spend your money somewhere else. They are deceptive. Upon signing up, they told me that a prepaid year membership will not automatically renew. Months later, I called to confirm that this was true and they said yes. After the year was over they continued to charge my credit card monthly fees for 3 months. Not only that, they don't offer many classes and when I've called to find out the days and times of classes, the employee didn't know and said I can come down to see if the classes are going on.
Better equipment (they even got tires), better facility (clean and organized) and awesome customer service than other 24 hr gyms. Walked in around 11pm to check out what they got and the guy at the front desk, his name was Will, was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a tour of the entire gym and answered my questions patiently. He seemed like the manager and even hooked me up with a 3 day pass to try out (so ask for Will when you call). I like their on demand workout room. It's very unique. Simply select a pre-recorded workout and follow along while it plays on a huge screen. They also have a small sauna.

love this gym they have all the equipment I needed to get my body ready for summer. I also enjoy how it is never to hot and there and I can tan with my membership

Pros:
1. It has the essentials needed for a proper workout and comparatively more than other gyms like L.A Fitness.
2. It is cheap as hell and is 24/7
3. Relaxed (i mean i don't see them do very much besides being on their phones) and friendly staff as well as the gym-goers
4. Many variety of gym amenities such as tires, ropes, punching bag, barbell pads, pvc pipes, kettle-bells, sauna in the locker room, massage room, a movie theater with running machines inside, showers, and a long corridor perfect for lunge walking, sprinting, etc. all of which is open to the public and not closed off for trainers.
5. Always light traffic in the gym and easy to find front row parking spaces.
Cons:
1. Has limited weight increments at dumbells (there is no 12.5 lbs for example and goes straight from 10 to 15lbs)
2. There are e-z barbells but no straight barbells that would provide a lighter weight for beginners to squat and deadlift with. While they have bench-press bars, even empty ones weigh 45lbs and are too heavy for weaker people
3. They do not have a dip machine :(
4. If the gym were to be even slightly busy, everyone would take up all the benches and there would be waiting for people to finish. Same goes for the cable workout machines.
5. Some people may be off-put by the urban demographics here, although I do not have a problem with it as they've all been respectful and helpful so far.
6. The towel dispenser is always empty so I can never wipe down a bench and others can't too. There is a broken mirror which is not pretty to the eye. Also the water fountains are pretty weak at dispensing water.

While no gym is perfect, this still has the feel of a gym vs a fitness place with a lot of classes. Membership is growing but I like that it is not full of selfie pretty boys and girls that occupy space. Still hate that no place will endorse the "put ALL your plates away or lose your membership" attitude.

This is a really awesome gym to go to. It's only 10 dollars a month and they offer you a lot at a very reasonable price. They have free weights, cable machines, weight machines, plate load strength equipment, treadmills, elliptical, stair masters, cardio bikes, big tires, pylo boxes and so much more. Aspire also offers fitness classes such as Zumba and capoeira. There is a cardio theater were you can workout while watching a movie. Aspire also offers a sauna room, tanning and massage room. The locker rooms and bathrooms are always clean. Aspire Fitness also have personal trainers if you need help on your fitness journey. The staffs are pretty cool and very nice people. Unlike other gyms, Aspire Fitness is hardly ever busy or crowded so you will be able to use most equipment in the gym. It's also open 24 hrs 7 days a week! If you have any kids, Aspire has a kids'club. I do hope that they expand their gyms in different locations throughout CT because it's only in Stratford right now. If you live in or near Stratford, CT this is the gym to go workout at!!!

Great ambient, with new and high quality equipments! There's a women only area, which is really cool. Also, there's plenty of cardio machines, including an additional cardio theater room. I love it!! The best, all of that for a really low price.
Did my first zumba class and loved it. She was fun and had great moves. Love this gym, convenient and close to home. Works great for my busy schedule.
They have great equipment including some crossfit stuff. It's open 24 hours. And they have daycare certain hours.
This is by far the worst gym that I've signed up for. It's not even worth a star. Poor customer service and communication, gym equipment is just okay, massage chairs are low grade quality and don't work properly, limited to one location, the temperature was typically in the high 70's when I would work out. (too warm during summer days) NO follow up from management. This gym is a joke! Don't waste your time or money!
Nice gym, has the basics of what I need. Best part is it is open 24/7 and has childcare. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because it is pretty warm especially while working out.
Love this place. Nice and quiet, friendly staff, open 24/7, clean. Very good gym.
It's got all the equipment of the Edge but not as many people. Great environment and right off the exit.
Pretty decent gym. Only 4 stars because the personal trainer scheduled me for Saturday morning and did not show up. I'm glad he's gone and now there's a new one and he seems nice. Overall a positive experience so far.
