This gym is very clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful.
More equipment and space than it looks like from the outside.
Would recommend!

Good Afternoon,
5 star Gym, The fitness trainers are helpful. Staff treated me very well. Cleaning towels always available. Great place to relax and work up a great work out.

LOVE this place. Best. Gym. Ever. I take Edge strong classes and love all the trainers. It's clean and the sauna is great. For the price you pay, you can't go wrong!

Great team of motivated experts geared with knowledge and experience. Everyone is pumped up and eager to help gym members. The team is also willing to help and support local and nationwide organizations. Keep up the good work!

I was sceptical about joining the Edge Fitness gym. Frankly, because it was too cheap. I was used to gym prices in New York City, so I assumed that the Edge would be a dump. But, when I finally arrived at the gym and toured the facility, I realized how wrong I was. The Edge is a fantastic gym. It has everything you want and need for a top-notch gym experience. The people who work there are fantastic. The vibe is friendly. There's lots of equipment, classes, and personal training options. The only thing the Edge doesn't have . . . is a high price tag. For me, that puts it over the edge. THE BEST GYM EVER.

Have to say they made so nice changes at the front desk. The people working are a lot friendlier and more energetic. Now that is the way it is supposed to be.

Wonderful location. Very clean and equipment is always organized. Front desk team members early morning are very friendly and helpful. Trainers are pleasant and approachable. Great selection of equipment. This location knows how to run a gym.

Not sure about the gym (my wife goes) but the daycare is a no no. Too many kids, not enough employees watching them. My child (9 months) came home on two separate occasions with objects in his mouth. One was a big piece of foam, the other was a hair scrunchy. I called to report it and was told they would look into it and call me back. Yep, you guessed it, no call back. Since there is a two hour time limit and parents stay on site, they aren't held to the same teacher/child ratios as a normal daycare.

Staff is very unfriendly and are very rude. Such an unpleasant atmosphere. Go anywhere else but here

I would like to put not only this location on blast, but all Fitness Edge.
Before you join, please do your research.
Read ALL the negative Better Business Bureau comments from customers who have been tricked with their poor communication and contracts. What they tell you is not what it really is.

If you are interested in doing the Personal Training please be advised that you cannot choose just ONE MONTH worth of sessions. You are OBLIGATED/FORCED to do TWO MONTHS and this is not even mentioned to you.

Like most successful business who treat customers right, Fitness Edge lacks this completely. Their fake smiles are just a sales strategy.

I am doing all I can to get rid of this membership as I would not enjoy myself in an unprofessional environment.

Not sure how many people can you fit in such a small place, but is seriously absurd to even think to keep signing up more people to this gym, on a positive note the locker renovations were great and the bathrooms are always clean.

I have been a member for seven years. If I was writing this a couple of years ago I'd have gone 4 or 5 stars. It isn't a bad gym. Last year's locker room update was great. I do worry that it seems none of my annual equipment charge actually goes into maintaining the equipment, to say nothing of adding new pieces. In seven years I think there have been a total of three new machines added. There are machines right now that have had 'Out of Order' signs on them for literally months; how hard is it to get repairs in and keep things running? My biggest pet peeve: not enough 45lb barbells! There should be one barbell per bench/squat rack in the free weight area, period, and there NEVER is. One barbell had a collar break and it's just sat, broken, in a corner for well over a month. Are you serious? Please get some more barbells! I've mentioned this at the front desk many times and at this point it feels like shouting into a hurricane. There used to be two deadlift platforms, one broke and was removed six months ago and is apparently never coming back - that's insane, to me. Take care of your members! Maintain and update the gym! I do like Edge Norwalk; it's kept clean, the staff are friendly, and there's a good range of equipment. I'd like to see that equipment better maintained and updated. Hopefully this gets a response and some action taken on that front.

Shady Unethical Company - Find another gym. They are not clean ( nobody cleans the sweat soaked equipment between uses) and when you try to cancel, they make you do so in writing 30 days ahead so they can get an extra monthly payment and even another annual fee from you. Avoid at all costs unless you like dealing with greedy people and risking skin disease.

I can only speak my experience with their customer service. Gym is nice, and a lot of equipment, but their customer service is absolutely horrible. To the point where I do not wish to come there any more despite me still paying for my membership...

Back story:
I signed up in June because they were having a no enrollment fee special and I wanted to get the ball rolling. I had also signed both of my children up for unlimited Edge Kids which I instructed to the person that signed me up (Same Zack) that I only wanted ONE MONTH of edge kids because we were going out of town for 6 weeks and then they would be starting school so I would not need it.... I reiterated this multiple times and he kept assuring me that I was all taken care of. I specifically said "Ok Sam, I'm all set? Im not going to get charged for a second month of Edge Kids?"... "Yep - all set!" (or whatever words of affirmation he used in agreement)...

Fast forward almost 3 months later, my husband comes to me and asks me if I recognize these charges to our account and sure enough, I have been charged $120 for subsequent months of edge kids ($20 for 2 months plus + their $30 facility fee PER CHILD) and at this point I'm pretty annoyed but whatever, I had high hopes this would be a simple misunderstanding and all would be resolved without issue (because thats good customer service right?)... NOPE it has been an absolute nightmare. I have spoken to many managers and Sam himself who (of course) acted completely dumbfounded (how convenient) when I confronted him with this saying, "Well, ma'am, if you wanted to cancel you would have needed to fill out the cancelation form...", Well OBVIOUSLY... Wouldn't it have been your job to make me fill out this form while I'm telling you that I only want edge kids for one month, instead of telling me "yep - you're all set!" ?.... I left there feeling completely taken care of and instead all you have done make you very untrustworthy.

I have been on the phone with them for WEEKS trying to get this resolved with absolutely no luck what so ever. I keep getting told "I'll have to call you back" and never receive a call and guess what, I'm STILL getting charged for edge kids to my dismay.

It must be said that this is the first negative review I have ever written about a place.... thats how angry I am. If I could rate them a zero, I absolutely would.

The Edge fitness has a great set of equipment, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. It doesn't feel too crowded or too deserted. The locker rooms are clean, and there are also fitness classes that included in most packages. In terms of price, this gym is towards the affordable end (and there are often special offers, depending on how they find you).
