Absolutely the best Pilates studio I've been to. I'll be a client for life. Best trainers, best facility, best everything. I never thought I'd find a place that could keep me motivated to work out for this long, but I've been training there for 6 years. Thank you, a million times over!

I have been doing Pilates on the apparatus for 4 1/2 years (and through 3 pregnancies) in NYC and in CT and I have had the most wonderful experience with the Pilates Centre. I have been a 2x/week client for the past year and a half and I highly recommend this studio to anyone is looking for an amazing workout in a beautiful space. The owner and all of the instructors are incredibly professional, dedicated, and warm. I look forward to every workout at the studio, and can credit this place to getting me my post-baby 6-pack abs!!

After reading the negative review that was posted recently by Anita, I also need to note that YES, the studio does have a 24-hour cancellation policy -- JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER SINGLE PILATES STUDIO IN THE WORLD. The instructors' time is very valuable, and as clients we need to respect this. When a new client joins the studio, they sign a form stating that they understand this policy. It is also posted very clearly in the studio. I also have to note that in a year and a half, I have NEVER been asked to reschedule a session -- on the contrary, I have found the instructors to be extremely accommodating to my schedule.

Overall, I highly recommend the Pilates Centre and I look forward to being a life-long client!

WARNING: MONEY STEALING PEOPLE! If I could give this place a negative rating I would!

The people at the studio seem nice at first. So I decided to sign up for an intro package of 3 private lessons ($200+). Before my second session, the instructor, Carla, emailed me to ask if we could move up our session. So I reschedule a couple of things to get there about 45 minutes earlier than scheduled. Well for my 3rd session, I had an event come up and couldn't make it and asked to reschedule. Jen and Dana both email me back and says that there is a 24 hr cancellation policy, which by the way they never mentioned when I signed up, and charge me for my session.

So their values are it's ok to reschedule if it benefits their instructors, but not when it's for their customers.

THEN Dana has a the decency to ask me if I wanted to sign up for 3 more sessions?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HECK NO!

These people are HYPOCRITES!!! STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!!! They will screw you for your money!!

I just began began training with Jennifer at the SONO ice house in Norwalk. From the moment I met her I knew that I found someone who was going to help me meet my fitness goals. I am getting married in 6 months, so I am on a mission to get into the best shape. In just a short amount of time I have began feeling better about myself and have lost weight. What I love most about working out at the ice house, is that I am able to get the best of both worlds: Pilates with the reformer machine and boot camp style personal training with other equipment Everyone who works there is so welcoming and nice. I have been to many personal training studios in the area where the trainers don't care. I am so thankful I found this place!

I've been a client at The Pilates Centre for 3 years and for me this is a saying a lot! I'm the type of person who joins a gym, goes once or twice and then never goes back. The instructors are really nice and I always feel welcome when I am there. Yes, the cancellation policy is strict, but for a small business it is probably a must. If everyone canceled last minute they would never be able to stay in business. I'm surprised they wouldn't have told a new client about this...I've always been aware of it...and it is noted on their web site. For a different perspective, I went to my regular class yesterday to find that I was the only person in the whole studio. They could've easily called me to ask me to come another day since everyone else had bailed but they didn't. I ended up getting a private lesson! Plus, Jen has been extremely loyal to me and generously sponsored two fundraising events that I worked on. My experience here has always been very positive!
