Gym is open 24 hours and that's great for me and my hours also staff is some times overwhelmed but still keeps it friendly and polite.

One of the staff members is very racist he does not like spanish people.I do not like the setup personally.The machines are broken.Overall I do not recommend this place at all. I am changing gyms.

This is one of it kind, the best sport's place so far. Well equipped and above all excellent customer service. Staffs are really friendly and respectful.

I have been a member to the YMCA for years. I go to the YMCA New Britain because it's the most convienent and I don't have any problems. Just recently they stopped playing music in the background and played reality show on the tv. I asked to put music on and the person who works here said that it's the radio that plays and that he won't put it on but he'll turn the tv volume down. Which doesn't help at all. I will remember this when surveys come around.

Very confusing building, unsafe neighborhood, almost hit reckless kids in the street on the way. The building is not clean, interior or exterior, and the service is horrible. Probably never going to go here again.

Staff member Mark is very rude and unprofessional towards customers almost acting like a body guard when clearing/shutting down basketball court

Horrible Pre-K. Billing was atrocious. Teacher customer service was non existent. None of the facilities were utilized for child care program. No swimming, no gym time, it wasn't even a guarantee my child would have outside play on good weather day. You pay via a bank account/card and O my! aren't they fast & loose with those debits. I was mislead on hours of operation, only 7 to 5:30 not 6:30 to 6. No breakfast from them AND your child cannot eat breakfast the parent provides; I was told I can bring her upstairs to eat while I watched her. But what am I paying you for??? To eat your dunkin donuts in my child's face while I'm still the building. Also no lunch provided. But isn't this a School Readiness Grant location? Then they closing for N.B. school holidays, offered vacation care to big kids but your year round attendees have to figure it out? When did 3-5 year olds get winter break? And lastly, everytime I entered that classroom the teachers were always seated. It gives the impression of laziness and litte to none interaction with the kids. Unprofessional All around. Do the YWCA, don't give yourself or your child a bad school experience.

They are making a LOT of great improvements at this Y. The prices are really reasonable for kids sports programs. The private swim lessons are awesome - they work with you on scheduling times. They also have a good mix of group classes and gym equipment - seeing all the changes motivates me to take more advantage of our membership. The front desk staff is helpful and it is really easy to enroll in new programs. Another benefit is the childcare offered(FREE) for a few hours M-F evenings and Saturday mornings.

I've only been to the new britain facility, but the facilities aren't amazing, but they're not bad either. I feel like everything is clean and reasonably up to date. I've never felt concerned for mine or my kids safety.
I would Def recommend.

It's a stupid rule that people under 18 can't be there after 8:30 on weekdays and 5 on weekends.
