Based off my first visit I was very excited to join. Plenty of cardio equipment, everyone seemed polite. And from experiences elsewhere it is a fresh of breath air to not feel over crowded while working out. Never been a 'loud' lifter so the not slamming stuff doesn't bother me at all. The black card perks are pretty nice, hydro massage chairs and tanning included with it. Very affordable as well. Would recommend anyone to give this gym a try !

Used to LOVE this place, until I told them I was moving and had to cancel my subscription.
Then they hung up on me, kept me on hold, and were rude to me each time I either emailed or called them. This goes for corporate, too.

Honestly best planet fitness I've been to considering the ones in Texas weren't as great as this one! The people are nice and take care of the equipment, considering I'm an Exercise Science major and this is what I went to school for, and I've seeeeeen gyms poorly treated. I love it here!

Super friendly staff who are willing to help with any questions you may have. Super affordable. Only down side is there is no pool, but that doesn't take away from the atmosphere of the place.

Great gym and the memberships are totally worth it! 21 dollars a month for the black card, which gets you access to planet fitness locations all across the U.S. and you have access to everything the gym has to offer. Love it! Oh and the employees are super nice!

Loved my first time experience. They gave a great Tour! It is a very clean facility and great lighting for those with sensitive eyes. I am autistic and have many hypersensitivities and this is the very first gym I have ever felt I could call my home gym due to how well maintained it is. The staff were also incredibly friendly and well above the call of duty. I look forward to returning!

Customer service is horrible. I wish the would hire nicer people. All seem to be very immature. Employees are judgemental. I heard them call me fat behind my back. Also the employees play tag during working hours. Corporate needs to talk to employees about having respect for customers. Very upset with the immaturity of the employees here.

I love this gym. Open 24 hours a day. Large selection of machines. Staff is friendly. Equipment is clean. No offensive odor. Environment is welcoming to all. Love the hydro massage and total body machines.

I love this gym. It has just the amenities I was looking for. It's always clean, the staff is always helpful, and it's rarely busy. The atmosphere is very laid back. They have more than one of each machine, and several of each type of cardio machine. The icing on the cake would be if they ever added a pool.

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. I didn't have any issue until I canceled my membership back in February due to personal reasons and they continued to charge me up until I just caught onto it today, in June. So for 5 months I was charged without knowing it and did not use the facility once. When I called to speak with someone about it they refused a refund and simply stated the "person I spoke to when canceling simply did not finish the process" and now I am out of luck. However, I was someone at the time who also canceled their membership at the same time and didn't have a problem.

Price is nice. Customer service not so much. Long waits for someone to come to the desk and if you need equipment restarted like a tanning bed, you will be told no try again tomorrow. The price is nice but you take the hit in customer service.

Clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Bathrooms clean, showers hot, like the "spa" feel of ladies locker room. Was designed well! Equipment variety, free WiFi, 24hr access. Dig it!

Gabriel is an amazing trainer here at PF, he is probably the only trainer I sign up for classes with even if it's literally at the last minute to sign up for a class. Gabe happens to be very respectful, professional, and enthusiastic gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Gabe you're awesome dude, I always enjoy your classes and that you are always willing to work with people that have difficulties with certain exercise techniques. I know how much you love a new challenge to become an even greater trainer. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PLANET FITNESS!!! I love being here.

Terrible customer service, canceling membership. I've been going here for a few months now and actually don't mind the lack of equipment or general laid back atmosphere that's kind of the opposite you want in a gym. The main reason I'm going to cancel my membership is that the music is so dang loud, I've asked the front desk about it and they simply claim it's corporate policy. I'm basically guaranteed a headache any time I go, and it's so loud I can't drown it out even with my own head phones tuned up to the maximum volume. At a certain point it seems silly to listen to corporate over your own customers.
It might seem silly to some people, but it makes me not even want to go to the gym which is typically my happy place. More than that the fact that they won't even turn it down at night when no one is there is simply ridiculous.

I love it! An affordable and comfortable location to get healthy without fear of judgement! All of the staff are friendly and inviting. Gabe created a personalized workout plan that has helped my husband and I lose a combined total of 186 pounds (along with healthy eating). I would highly recommend Planet Fitness!

I read all the posts in here about planet fitness. If the reviews are about the Grand Junction location let me tell you half are wrong! The gym is open 24 hours a day, the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable always ready to help. It is not an intimidating place at all. The equipment is awesome and they have lots of it. There are mats to workout on and stretch. Signing up online is fast and easy. Same as signing up at the counter. A tour is offered for every member and the Black Card benefits are awesome. No pool or sauna but that's ok for the price it's great. If you don't want a tan or massage you don't pay for it. Going to another PF gym is easy, and if you forget your card not a big deal if you know your name. So I believe the negative reviews here are from the other gyms around town that have lost members to Planet Fitness. PF in junction is a great place to workout or just to relax with a massage or a tan. Don't fall for the negative reviews take it from me a 47 year old that is finally getting back into shape or at least trying to. Come on down and see for yourself . This gym has everything you need to get into shape from the staff trainers to the equipment. Make 2018 a fitness year!

So I would've given it 5 stars Because it is a fairly nice gym, although it lacks a lot of things I personally believe a gym should have, such as a weight bench or adjustable bikes. Their bikes HURT and they only adjust up and down. Could've added a few other machines that are common in gyms like a hand crank etc. But overall a pretty nice gym for the price.

I'm happy that there's a Planet Fitness in town. I enjoy the environment with new equipment and the spa machines. Other gym-goers mind their own business and don't seem judgmental and almost all of them clean the machines when they finish using them. Some of the employees aren't as nice as others, but that's normal in a business. Overall, I enjoy going to the gym now.

Don't attempt to transfer your membership to this location as you will not be let in until it goes through, which apparently takes forever as I have been waiting for 6 days and I have been denied at the door the last two days (even though they let me in the first 4 days and I have been a PF member for almost 4 years). This is on top of the fact that the day I initiated the transfer I stood at the front counter FOR ALMOST AN HOUR as a new girl was working by herself and had no idea how to do it, making multiple calls to her manager (not her fault, obviously poorly trained). I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame too. It's one of the nicer PFs I have seen. They need to be a little more understanding that their system takes forever and the customer should not be punished because of it.

I stopped in this location while on a cross country trip. The staff informed me that they had just opened the same day. Based on the previous reviews, I'm guessing they remodeled. The new place is amazing! They have a separate "Black Card Spa" area where you can get your tanning and massages away from the noise of the gym room. All the equipment is brand new, and the aerobics machines each have their own monitor. Very nice! To top it off, every staff member I spoke to was very friendly and full of smiles. Oh, and they ARE open 24/7 now. Top notch facility!

This location has a friendly staff, zero judgement, and a plethora of exercise equipment for every area of your body. As a black card member, they also give you tanning and chair/bed massages as a bonus. These are great if you want to be less sore the next day! The cleanliness is also on point, so I never feel grossed out even switching between many machines. (Just to add: this gym IS 24/7 now, so ignore the other reviews that say this isn't the case!)

Great gym. Good deal on sign-up, no contract. Excellent clean facility. Not crowded in mid-afternoon. Plenty of cardio machines, plenty of resistance machines. Locker rooms were spotless. Employees were helpful and informative. 24 hours. Plenty of parking.

I've been at planet fitness in Roy Utah, but this one is the best I've been to. The staff is amazing and kind, and there are a lot more cardio machines. This gym is larger and the lighting isn't bright like golds, which makes me feel like I'm not in a spotlight! I was at golds, but as soon as planet fitness opened, I jumped over to this one! I don't feel like I'm being judged or feel intimidated what so ever. Also, with both memberships the trainers are FREE, unlike golds gym. The hydro massage lounge chair is amazing after a long day at work and after a workout. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for an awesome gym.
Only downside is they don't have a sauna, but the massage chairs make up for it!
