I love Kinesis! I've been doing pilates for over 20 years, and it's amazing to find a place that is so welcoming, so comfortable, with a staff with such an incredibly high level of expertise and knowledge. That make it both a total pleasure and an incredible work out!

After moving across the country, Kinesis was one of the first Pilates studios I started going to. I initially reached out looking for a job which was when I met the owner, Sophia. Although she was not hiring, she found out that I was a trainee at the same program all of her staff had trained at. She welcomed me with open arms! Not only did she allow me observe classes at her studio, she also told me I could practice there throughout my program. I could not believe how welcoming she was to me, a stranger. As I started taking classes at the studio I began to realize how different it was from every other studio I have practiced at. The staff is all nationally certified which is evident through their knowledge of the body. The classes are fun yet challenging. And the private lessons have been so healing! On numerous occasions I have gone into class after tweaking my back or hurting my ankle snowboarding. The instructors made sure to tailor the session to my current needs and I left feeling 100 times better. If you do pilates regularly or have never done Pilates, Kinesis is the studio for you. They have pretty much eliminated my chronic pain from an autoimmune disease and that alone has changed my life!

This studio is amazing. I started only recently but already feel stronger in my core and my back pain is lessening. The teachers are all so good and pay careful attention to form. But they are also so encouraging. I highly recommend.

I started going to Kinesis Pilates two years ago to see if it would help with some lower back issues. The classes helped - my pain went away and my movement is better. Now I continue to go because I always feel better after classes. The instructors are great. Wish I could get there more often!

My experience with Sophia and all of the instructors at Kinesis Pilates has been exceptional. I came to the studio to work with Sophia in conjunction with PT after back surgery. I have gotten stronger and the symptoms of my back injury are nonexistent. I love my private lessons and the classes. The classes are fun and challenging and the instructors attention to the clients is top notch.

Unlike a few other studios I have attended, I receive close personal coaching as to technique and proper positioning from Sophia and her colleagues. Being in a class is very similar to receiving a private lesson!

In the past year I've been going to Kinesis Pilates 2 to 3 times a week, and the practice is fundamentally changing my muscle awareness, core strength, posture, and body movement. I feel stronger and healthier than I did 10 years ago. I highly recommend Kinesis Pilates!

Sophia is brilliant!! The instructors she brings in are equally as amazing. I've been doing pilates on and off for several years...Kinesis is a wonderful place for a starting point, or if you've practiced in the past. My body, my posture and just overall well being continues to to be GREATLY enhanced by doing Pilates. If you are even just thinking about trying Pilates or getting more serious about your practice, this is the place to be.

I started my Pilates journey with Sophia/Kinesis a few years ago. Since that time I've become fascinated with the connections I've made with my body - muscle to muscle and mind to muscle and how those connections drive movement - not just movement during exercise, but also in LIFE! I love that Pilates has taught me the art of slowing down and how breathing affects movement. Thanks, Kinesis!

After years of back pain, I tried Pilates. I am glad I tried it with Sophia and Kim because they are exceptional instructors. They are very thoughtful about movement mechanics and posture, and have provided me a lot of help in breaking out of bad habits, strengthening my core, and moving in healthier ways. The workouts are fun, and I'm getting stronger. I look forward to each class-- they're difficult but relaxing at the same time. You really should try Kinesis Pilates.

An outstanding experience made possible by the instructors (welcoming, patient, thoughtful, warm, knowledgeable, professional, responsive, genuine), the studio environment (latest equipment, positive energy, community feel), and an appreciation for/acknowledgement of the physical and mental dimensions of health and wellness.
