I have watched all ages and all walks of life come in and out of this gym. I have seen their lives change through the dedication, commitment, and knowledge provided to you by the ISF staff. There are no cookie cutter diets, training guides, etc. They treat each person as an individual taking into account their different fitness levels and goals. The sense of comradery, the up-to-date & clean facility is by far the best place to get your work-out without feeling intimidated or uncomfortable.
I'm not one for those huge mega gyms. The ones that focus on signing people up after Thanksgiving, at the beginning of a new year, etc. Those gyms end up being crowded and filled with people that would rather flirt with you than work out.....you know, the reason you should join a gym. On the other hand, those small 'hole in the wall gyms' lack real equipment, employees, trainers, etc. Inner Strength falls right in the sweet spot. Just the right size with just the right equipment. They even have equipment the mega gyms don't. Plus, they have gear that actually makes working out fun. It also offers a great balance of fitness levels. Great club for getting you from point 'slob' to point 'heart throb'. :-D
I have been working out at Inner Strength for a little over a month now, and I have to say, after spending years in "big-box" types of gyms, this place is a breath of fresh air! The staff and trainers are all extremely knowledgeable, no matter what your fitness goal happens to be. Even the guy that runs the front desk is a certified trainer. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The club is convenient to get to, always clean, and I've never had a problem with waiting in line for equipment, like some other gyms in the area.
I've been at Inner Strength Fitness for about two months now. As a professional track and field athlete, I've trained all across the country at various gyms with plenty of different coaches. Inner Strength is at the top of my list for facilities and staff. The strength coaches are knowledgeable and courteous. They understand the demands of professional athletes and are well-equipped to train their athletes from all ends of the spectrum. Further, Inner Strength has great facilities and options for different types of athletes. If you are looking for a workout facility with educated coaches, great facilities, and friendly co-workout aficionados, ISF is the place for you!
My husband and I joined back in January after becoming sick of the big box gyms. We met with the owner who gave us a tour and answered all of our questions, not pressuring us at all. We joined the next week and immediately knew we made the right choice. Since I have joined I have competed in 2 fitness competitons, something I have wanted to do for so long, with the help of my trainer there and the support of all the amazing athletes who train there as well. The conditioning class that is there is hands down the BEST cardio workout I've ever done and I would never go anywhere else. Everyone supports one another in their fitness goals and I feel like I have a family at ISF. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in any type of shape, who wants a great place to take their fitness to another level and not feel uncomfortable while working out.
