I've been waiting to write a review so I can experience the consistency of their service, the thoughtfulness behind each workout, and attend classes taught by a majority of the instructors (Ryan, Tara, Michele, Corey, Matt, Seth). As context, I normally attend 4 classes a week.
Summary of the past 3+ months is that the constructs of each class is challenging and engaging, and that's a common theme for all instructors. You'll quickly notice that every instructor has their own flare, which is cool to see within a gym - the ability for each instructor to build their own 'brand' and design unique workouts so you get something different every time. BUT rule number 1 is to listen to your body, and what's cool is I workout alongside a range of folks who're in different parts of their workout journey, and it doesn't affect the quality of my workouts.
I've found that those who're working through the challenge of every class beside me are always supportive and uplifting, and the general camaraderie you develop is icing on the cake.
As someone who traditionally worked out alone with HIIT, circuit, and strength-training routines, I've really enjoyed my experience thus far with GenFit, and look forward to building on my physical health with their support.
Just be wary of Corey's counting - 10 seconds is not 10 seconds. You'll see- =)
