Lovely studio, great for all levels, and not elitist/snobby about modifications like some other studios I have been to. I was traveling through Denver and didn't have a mat -- not only were mat and towel rentals super affordable ($2 each) but there is also a 10-day for $10 special. Great instructors!
Very welcoming studio to a first time hot yoga student! Great 10 days for $10 deal for first time visitors!
Incredibly thoughtful, positive, and brilliant instructors and owners. An absolutely beautiful studio that fosters community, healthy lifestyle practices, and a deep appreciation for traditional hot yoga.
Hey,
First time here today. I did the hot 90 and it was fantastic Tisha Gregory was great in helping to improve my postures!
Thanks guys
A wonderful experience as soon as I walked in the door. Traveling for work, I visit yoga studios all over the country and this was one of the best. The studio itself is lovely, well appointed, welcoming with soothing colors. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the rented mat which was clean and thick. If you're experienced with hot yoga, you know a towel on your map is essential. So often a rented towel is simply a bath towel which bunches up during practice. At Tula, I was provided with an actual sports towel, made for use on the mat. So far so good but what really counts is the quality of instruction and Tula exceeded my expectations there as well. Breanne led us through a beautiful sixty minute series. Straying a little from a strict Bikram tradition, her guidance was clear, calm and inviting. She provided gentle suggestions for modification and contemplation that set the tone for challenge without struggle. I look forward to my next trip to Denver, I will definitely return to Tula yoga and I highly recommend the experience for both new and practiced yogis.

So today was the second time I visited Tula (the first intructor Marcy Donovan, was incredibly warm and proficient) and my instructor was Leonard Jenkins. Let me start by saying I came in about 5 minutes to the start of class and my friend was initally supposed to be joining me. When I got there the instructor Leonard seemed frazzled and totally ungrounded (and as a fellow yoga instructor I understand you can't always be 100% on your game). So I told him my friend was on her way at which point he informed me that she'd have to hurry because class was about to begin. He asked me a few questions and I began to notice his tone was increasingly unprofessional and slightly hostile; at which point I felt uncomfortable and insisted that I could wait for my friend and let her in. He then informed me in an amazingly disrespectful way that I could either stay or go so of course, I left. Now, just yesterday at this same studio the instructor Marcy patiently waited as yogis trickled in (roughly 2 minutes after class was supposed to begin and was totally considerate and professional). As a young Black woman I am CONSTANTLY bombarded with the microcaggressions of White cis males. This can be anything like someone speaking to you in a way they wouldn't to someone else of a different race (i.e. I noticed he wasn't as rude to the other White customers as he was with me). I say this to say, that I am sick of going into this sorts of spaces and encountering this sort of attitude and demeanour. As yogis, we are actively working to be more compassionate and mindful of our prejudices. As people (specificly White people) we aren't always aware of our discriminatory habits. I just want more people to be aware of how they approach others (especially those of different races) and become conscious of how we 1.) perceive them initially/subconsciously 2.) what we can do to make these spaces (fitness, etc) inclusive of ALL people. This experience was so very frustrating and makes me never want to visit this studio again.
The Hot Music class is one of the best yoga adventures. If you like some hot yoga you are going to fall in love with this class. I will do wonders to your mind and body. Just make sure to come super duper hydrated because you are gonna sweat.

The forrest class with Ona was transformative.
I was trying to help a brain injured friend and told her to get fluoride out of her diet. Marcy became enraged and said her sisters' kids had to take fluoride pills because their teeth were so rotted and I said on the back of toothpaste tubes it states to call poison control if you ingest more than a peas size amount. Marcy yelled at me to come outside and yelled at me for 10 minutes, when I tried to speak she shoved her hand in my face. Tisha then called me at home to yell at me some more. I had been a member for over three years. I decided I couldn't take the hate they were dishing out and withdrew but they automatically sent me a Thank-you for my membership and wrote what a strong community they are. I laughed and wished them a Merry Christmas which was met with more of their hate. They are the most hateful people I have ever met. If you know more than they do, keep it hidden, they are very ignorant and mean-spirited.
Many of my friends say they miss me but I feel so much better being away, they are very phony and fake. They are against freedom of speech.
I've practiced all over the country, and no studio even compares to Tula. Instruction is excellent (not the militant "Bikram style"), facility is clean, and the community is delightful. Tula will always be my home yoga studio.
Great instructors and nice space!! I love coming to practice here!!
I was there once when in Colorado in 2015. Since then, every few months I am charged by this place. When I called the owner was rude to me about filing a dispute on my Amex and says I need to call her first. Since that first false charge, she has charged me many more times. I have only been to Colorado once in my life, last year. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!

I travel a lot so I am a visitor at yoga studios in a number of different cities, even different countries. Tula is a great little studio with superb instructors that are SO helpful in advancing your practice. This is a studio that has a great sense of community but they are always open and welcoming to visitors. Isn't that the way a studio should be? Yep.
