It is my place of sanity, serenity and revitalization. Every single class I go to is incredible.

Craig and Angie were stellar as usual my last two classes there. They were kind, clear, had new to me variations to teach. Love this center. Love the teachers who make each class a beautiful experience.

I have been an Iyengar practitioner since 2012 and have had the chance to spend time at the centres in many different cities and countries around the world. IYC Denver has to be the most open, friendly, accepting and welcoming centre or studio that I have ever stepped into or practiced. It's a wonderful community that's been built and I look forward to becoming a part of it.

I've been practising more than 20 years and Sig is by far the best teacher. Her knowledge, experience, care, the easevwuth which she imparts her teachings/cues, and, importantly, respect for each student is second to none. I invariably come away rejuvenated, at peace, and quietly joyous. Thank Sig and Iyengar Denver!!!

Amazing teachers and studios! One thing to be aware of- I could never figure out why my asthma would flare up when I would come here, and then I just learned that they allow dogs in the building. So if you have asthma or allergies, be aware that they allow dogs to wander in the building. Other than that, the teachers are INCREDIBLE!

Went in for a Level 1 class with Lisa Beckwith Wolf, was my first time at this studio. As I looked up directions I thought I would check out reviews, and found a negative review for this teacher and thought maybe I signed up for the wrong thing. Went to the class and must say my experience was very positive. The person up front was very helpful and guided me to their change room, water fountain, bathroom and the room the class would be in. The students there were very nice, you could tell they were regulars, they pointed out what props are normally used, where to leave your stuff, which way to setup. Worth mentioning is that I asked these questions, but the people there were very helpful. Lisa was very thorough, asked about injuries, and was very attentive to the students. She was very knowledgeable and cued me more than a few times to improve the pose I was in. The class overall was very much alignment based, which is exactly what I was looking for. I really enjoyed it and hope to go back soon.

Mr. McEllen's review is surprising. The instructor, Lisa, and an assistant were very helpful and attentive in the group class. I think if Mr McEllen was slightly more assertive, he'd have received the personal attention he seems to expect. There were no more than 9 people in my group class.
I called in January. I was diagnosed with a serious chronic autoimmune disease that affected my nervous system and muscle function. I was referred to Lisa, one of the owners. She started me on private lessons due to my situation. Over the last seven months she has helped me prepare for a double surgery (which cured my disease); she was extremely conscientious about my issues, injuries and limitations. After surgery we worked around the affected areas and with great benefit.
I had also suffered from chronic lower back pain for most of the past four years. The slightest things would set it off.
I attended my first public/group yoga class ever yesterday. Lisa was the instructor. I am back pain (and pain med) free for almost 4 months; and more mobile than I've been in many years. For $10-16/class, I don't think I've ever had a better return from anything I've ever done before...ever! This is a no brainer: well trained, caring and dedicated instructors.

I went to the denver iyengar center for the first time unfamiliar with their system, my instructor was Lisa Beckwith Wolf, everyone was chatty with instructor and each other. As a new person I felt ignored, I walked in on a clique and wasn't welcome. I thought someone might say who is this guy who doesn't know what he is doing. Then I just got smart ass answers to legitimate technical questions. I felt they could have done a better job to accommodate a new person and make them feel welcome

This studio is the largest Iyengar Center in Denver! Who is Iyengar? B.K.S. Iyengar is one of the most influential yoga teachers of the 20th century. This center has an amazing list of instructors who on average have 20+ years experience in the Iyengar yoga system. BACK CARE class on Wed. nights is my favorite!
