Its the best place ever! The coach is amazing and so helpful she will get you to reach your goals and feel like a bad ass doing it! I love going here!

My checks clear, but that is the only reason anybody would want me in their cross fit gym. I am comically uncoordinated, almost 50 years old and arthritic. Yet head trainer Rachel is unflagging in her support and keeps coming up with effective and creative approaches for me to try. Thanks to her efforts, I may actually remember the difference between a dead lift and an overhead squat (some day)
I had always been afraid of trying crossfit, because I have several joint problems. However, I came across a special where I got to try the class for free on Saturday and the gym was close to my home. I have to say that I am quite impressed. I have been going for 3 weeks now. The coaches listen to my concerns and help me make modifications to the moves so that I can still work hard but not create any injuries. The class itself is awesome. The ones I have gone to are called Met-Con. (I think that must stand for really freaking hard, get drenched in sweat and burn-tons-of-calories cardio.)
All of that is great, but what impresses me most is the quality of knowledge regarding technique the coaches teach, and the awesome feeling of family and community that exist at the gym. I immediately felt welcome and the other clients were very friendly and welcoming. I am super glad I went out on a limb and tried this. I think I am going to stick with it to prepare for bikini season!
