I have practiced at many wonderful studios around Denver, which I love and find value in, but this studio is special. LeeAnn, the studio owner, has set up a beautiful space of warmth, challenge, and community (I'd even use the word "family").
I am an active mid-20-year-old. I weightlift, run, swim, hike, ski, and practice yoga around 3-4 days a week. After just 3 of LeeAnn's Stretch classes, it has become a highlight of my week. Each class is challenging, both mentally and physically, but in a different way than most other styles of yoga I've experienced (Bikram, Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga). We end up in unique holds and twists, being hyperaware of alignment and our internal experience.
LeeAnn immediately made me feel at home at her studio. She has us meet our neighbors, takes note (and action) of our individual needs, and most importantly, makes us - well, at least me - laugh! At my first class, one of the regulars brought fresh-baked bread to share! This is an example of the community and energy you will find at Kula.
