Always liked this planet Fitness, especially because it is close. Only problem I have is the payment system is automated, but it has gotten better since I ended my old gym membership with them (about a year ago). The staff is friendly and will talk to you like a normal person if you are nice to them. Just be decent to these people because they will be decent with you.
Planet Fitness is a great gym! They keep the place very clean and well kept up! The staff is friendly and helpful as well. The equipment is all very good and makes working out a pleasure. They have enough free weights as well for those who like that.
I love this gym. There is an area dedicated to calisthenic exercises and there's plenty of cardio machines. It does get busy at this location around 5 PM so if you're like me and don't want to deal with the crowds then I recommend going early to get the full gym experience.
One of the best values for a gym in the spring. I go very often and never have to wait for equipment. Highly recommend for someone looking to work out any no stress environment
Pretty nice location except some machines and repairs can go unfixed for long periods of time.
It looks attractive at first, but the staff are all practically children and have almost no common sense. There's no "grunting" allowed while working out, no large water bottles, no muscle tanks, you'll get hassled about every little thing that no other gym would ever consider close to an issue. I'm going to finish my first month and return to my old gym.
My wife has been charged 3 times since cancelling the membership. They wont refund any of it. Alternatimg 40 and 60 dollar charges. They will rob you blind! Plus their gym is pretty mediocre. For the amount of robbery that goes on, just go to Villa. Or 24. Or golds.

Stopped by to check out the gym. i noticed that all the TV's news channels were tuned to FOX News. I was told that they are programmed by corporate and cannot be changed. I was also told that people are always coming to the desk and asking how to turn on the TVs at the massage chairs because people constantly turn them off because they too are programmed to FOX news. Corporate: please give some real news choices! Other than that - nice gym.

I'm just here for the 24/hr showers and outlets... so I'm giving this place 5 stars just for that!
You get what you pay for. I've had several issues with PF. One there is no online automation well there is a slight online automation let me correct that, if you want to pay your bill. It's 2018!. So if you wanna switch places and your a frequent traveler like myself this becomes very difficult as you'll have to do it at which ever one you signed up for. If you wanna upgrade while away from the location you signed up for ie. Turn a 10$ account to 20$ one you won't be able to unless you put in mail and wait 2 weeks for your location to switch. Which by the way I was coming back in 2 weeks so just took the hit on not working out. Facility good for beginners if you are a already big Workout buff or even anything over beginner I wouldn't recommend this place. Set up is very slim. The benches you have to go on the squat machines and move a bench and outside of that their free weights only go up to about 70 pounds for each arm I have seen higher but not at all gyms. Last thing they say no judgment but if your really into working out watch out you might be judged. I don't go slamming weights. I drop them on my 3rd set yeah because I know my true muscle failure. Which is true working out anyway had the bell sounded on me several times. So they actually judge a lot at these places. A little hypocritical for there rules is all it seems to me. Outside of that usually pretty clean, equipment, bathrooms. Doesn't really get busy.
Finally found a cool place to work out that doesn't break the bank.
I love that there are lots of machines (and they aren't sticky!).
The 30 minute work station is an awesome concept. Right when I am about to give up I am done with the work out. Its freaking awesome!
Top that off with a hydromassage and massage chair. Once a week i go to the tanning bed during my lunch time.

I went to this Planet Fitness location as a guest of a member and was greeted by a friendly employee at the counter. The gym was busy for a Tuesday evening but there were still plenty of machines readily available. The women's locker room was very clean and the overall atmosphere of the gym was full of energy. I look forward to working out at this location in the future!
I have been a member for years. My overall experience is pretty good. This is my first post for Planet Fitness. I would like to give a HUGE shout out to their new employee Robert M. He is welcoming and friendly. I really really appreciated him when I saw him cleaning the inside of the men's locker room lockers. He takes the time to do things right. And it really shows. Thank You Robert! Great Job!
Staff is so amazing and professional. Gym is extremely clean and well kept up. Best part of my day is coming here. Thank you Austin bluffs location for being the best out of the three. The one on consitution and powers sucks.
Started in March for my birthday. I have been to many gyms and the crew here are always friendly and if not they are busy cleaning or helping others. The red light therapy has been so helpful with my weightloss. I love the different weight machines, Smith machine, pully systems, free weights. There is usially no wait time, but it is not a long at all. People are generally courteous here too. I love the hydro massage at the end of my workouts. Massage chairs Too!
Gym equipment was pretty descent. Only thing I noticed is certain female employees looking at their cell phones when being asked questions by gym members. And some girl named Brittany said she was a manager, I over heard her bad mouthing a gym member there about her being funny looking in yoga pants. And another female working there looked like she hated her life being there. Probably should hire some people that look like their somewhat happy there. Other then these employees making you feel uncomfortable, the gym itself is pretty clean. Glad I only did a month to month membership.
Ok transferred to this location and so far not thrilled. The staff member did not know how to tell me how to get the TVs on Bluetooth. Two of the four tanning beds down. My transfer did not go through after 3days. Hope it gets better here.
Staff super organized personable and friendly and gym is extremely well maintained. I recommend this one most out of the others in Colo Springs!

Great facility. Tanning, water massages, clean, and a friendly upbeat staff. And great prices!! The reviews on here did not at all relate to my experience at this PF. I went in, they showed me around got to know me introduced me to the trainer . Sat down went over prices and from there I was hooked. They then signed me up and explained everything to me (in excruciating detail... but hey, I can understand from reading reviews left by people on here,, YOU DONT READ. As long as you read what you are signing and make a mental note of it you will love this gym. Best one out of the couple in town
Seriously not getting the negative reviews on here. This place is great! I have been coming since September of 2017. I started working with Andrea (Drea) the trainer on staff since September 19 and am starting to see great results! The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Great gym for basic cardio and weight training.
Planet Fitness is a good place to exercise. Fairly clean, people will leave you alone. This one is Financially they're horrible, I canceled once, they called me, I told them I cancelled and to cancel it again. I was told membership cannot be canceled on the phone so I came back in. I canceled again but they said they're still going to charge me for the next fee because it was after the 10th. As per contract. I will need to follow up several times to ensure cancellation. If you decide to quit the gym, or move, make sure you do it way ahead of time, then follow up at least two times to make sure that they did it correctly. Or they will continue to charge you and hound you on the phone even though they can I cancel it over the phone. Finally, employees do not stick around very long, hard to establish a rapport.
Probably the best gym in Colorado Springs if you're interested in staying in shape, toning and getting in shape. Not for radical workouts, but for great conditioning, toning, cardio and even weight loss. The place is spotless, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the machines are top-notch. We have the Black Card membership which lets us use the hydro massage - that's worth the extra $10 alone! Great location, great price and a fantastic atmosphere - what else could be better?
Clean and well spaced out machines. Lacks a water bottle filler fountain that I've seen other planet fitnesses have. Lacks inflatable workout balls that other gyms have. The counter service could be a bit more polite and greet you as well as say bye when you leave. Ending on a good note is very important for gyms. Probably not any workers fault and falls back on management.
Why so many complaints? Do your research before going to this gym. This gym is mainly for toning and loosing weight. That is what I want to do. I want the body of Enrique Iglesias, not Arnold. If you want Arnold, then head over to Gold's Gym, Southern Cali or New Jersey with the rest of the meat heads. This is solely for loosing weight and toning. People with billing issues. I read a lot of reviews. I signed up today and they were very very clear to me when the money comes out each month. I wrote it down and will make note to it to my bank to make sure the money is in there. Period. The reviews I read only blames the company, but never takes responsibilities for themselves. It is always 100% the companies fault, but never yours. Hard to believe. The ones that complain about the gym and what it has and doesn't have. Nothing is going to be 100 percent perfect and up to your specific standards. It is a very nice gym with everything you can ask for especially for what they charge you for membership. If you want to find a gym where they charge you 200 dollars a month just so you can have your precious squat machine, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Just make the best of what you have and let the others enjoy as well. You should always encourage people to exercise and not be afraid of gyms. By you guys being so negative makes people weary of even trying to make changes to their life. When I got there and before I even signed up for the membership. I looked around at all the machines to see what they could do for me. I checked all the corners, the bathrooms, everything. From there I made a decision. No one pointed a gun to your head to make you sign up for membership and then your bitter because they don't have the machine you want?? I hope the people who run the Austin Bluff Gym reads this and I want to let them know that thank you for making the sign up process very easy going especially when you made me the guinea pig as you were training one of your new employees. I really enjoyed your gym and thank you for answering all my questions I had during the enrollment.
