Pilates, in a garage?
Granted it's not really a garage, though it's carefully outfitted to look like one with top of the line Pilates equipment and banks of windows. A few DeWalt tool boxes and Craftsman tool chests hold tools that keep equipment in top shape.
The unique setting captured and has held my interest for over a year. What a cool place to practice! It's not fierce or fluffy, worn down or impersonal, and it is NOT a "going through the motions" or "make your work out until you want to die" studio. This is the place to go if you want to learn how to refine your practice while being challenged to be your best, regardless of fitness level or Pilates experience.
The instructors are the stars of the Garage. Not only do they have decades of experience teaching, they have immeasurable talent in reaching and coaching each client through every class. That's pretty impressive.
Mentionables.... Erica B. is the best group and individual trainer I have encountered in 3 years of Pilates practice. She is a pro and it shows. Drew C. (the owner) runs a high-quality business, and quickly makes changes when needed. Drew T. also makes sure things run smoothly and is becoming a certified instructor. Melissa P. will kickstart your Saturday morning in a good way. Monthly Master classes with Nicky Taylor Steward are always a challenge and treat- a must. And finally, the other clients - super laid back, dedicated to being better Pilates practitioners, and a supportive community.
